Your expert tour guide brings the Colosseum to life with an in-depth 1-hour visit. Choose the Arena option for a 1.5-hour experience that includes exclusive access to the arena floor.
Spend 1 hour exploring the Roman Forum with your guide, uncovering the temples, arches, and roads that formed the political and social heart of ancient Rome.
Your tour concludes on Palatine Hill, the legendary founding hill of Rome. Explore the ruins of imperial palaces and take in sweeping panoramic views over the city below.

Important Information
- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller

- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- In the case of inclement weather, the arena floor may be closed off without notice. In these instances, refunds cannot be provided
- Meeting time is 30 minutes prior to the start time. Late arrival will result in entry refusal and loss of tour cost.
- When you purchase our service, it includes the entrance fee to the archaeological sites, which is €18 for adults (or €22 for the Arena option), along with a €2 booking fee. Children under 18 years of age enjoy free entry. The remaining portion of the payment covers essential services such as meeting point assistance, booking fees, live guide, headsets and other related services to enhance your overall experience.
- Please not that the tour itinerary may vary in order, depending on site conditions or scheduling optimization. While all mentioned areas (Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill) are included the tour, the sequence of the visits might be adjusted — for example, the tour may start with the Roman Forum before entering the Colosseum.
- Opening hours and last entry times for the Colosseum and Roman Forum vary by season. From March 30 to September 30, sites close at 7:15 PM (last entry at 6:15 PM); from October 1 to October 25, closing is at 6:30 PM (last entry at 5:30 PM); and from October 26 to February 28, sites close at 4:30 PM (last entry at 3:30 PM).

Scott our toor guide did an excellent job presenting the colosseum, forum zone and the palatine hill area to the group. He did a grrat job pacing the tour and finding rest stops which really offset the heat and direct sunlight. Besides his vast knowledge of the venues, he interacted with virtually everybody on the tour at some point which was nice and made it feel like a custom, private tour. Scott’s voice through the earphone was loud, articulate, and easy to listen to and understand. The tour never bogged down as some do, even with the hot day it was a very pleasant and rewarding experience. I highly recommend the tour to others and can assure you will learn from Scott’s vast knowledge and that he will make sure you are comfortable from beginning to end.
Our guide, Scott, and Bugra were wonderful tour leaders. Knowledgeable, humorous, and very entertaining. Even kept our kids’ attention over the length of the tour. Our whole family agrees it was one of the highlights of our experience in Rome.

Our guide Alessandro was wonderful very knowledgeable and interactive he made the tour informative and fun. I would definitely put this tour on your to do list. We had an amazing guided tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. We were running a bit late and couldn't find the meeting point at first, but our host, Bugra, was incredibly understanding and helpful—he even called us to guide us to the right spot. Our tour guide, Claudia, was fantastic! She was so kind, funny, and explained everything perfectly. The Colosseum was definitely the highlight of the tour. We really appreciated that Claudia didn't rush us at all and left plenty of time for taking photos. Highly recommended!
