Cancelled and refunded on us 2 days prior to the tour, leaving us scrambling for tickets that were sold out.
The tour was booked for 830, but the guide firm had it booked for 130, so they day was wasted. Poor coordination between the platform users
Absolutely apalling. Never been treated so badly in all my travels. Stay well clear of these crooks.
We booked the tour through GetYourGuide. Two days before the tour I got a email telling me they had changed me from 9.45am on tuesday to 13.45 on tuesday. Except my booking was for monday, not tuesday. A message telling me they weren't running the tour on the monday but they could offer the tuesday instead. Not much good as we were going home on the tuesday. Then another email arrived saying the same thing except it was written in white text on pale grey so was illegible. They also sent a WhatsApp message which I responded to asking for a refund. I also responded to the email asking for a refund. They sent me a message but deleted it before I saw it. Two hours later I messaged them again asking them for a refund. No reply for another 4 hours when they said I would be refunded in 3 days time. This was two days before the tour date and of course it was impossible to get an alternative tour at that stage. We eventually managed to get tickets ourselves on the official colosseum website at 5.30am on the monday. Overall, very poorly handled and very disappointing. I would not book with them again.
The guide was great and very knowledge. Had a great time , it was very convenient that we were a small group
Very informative, great guide (Fulvia) but lots of walking. A good day out. The stairs in the colosseum are very steep but there is a lift available.
Great tour - great guide and very informative. Would thoroughly recommend using Rome Your Way xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
We went on a very busy day with a two hour wait to get through the gates but our tour guide Sofia managed to make the wait seem like nothing.
A total scam, they robbed us. I bought a tour for me and my laughter for the colisseum in october 2025. The tour company contacted me a week before to change the date (it was booked months before) allegedly because it was going to be closed. It wasn't true as I later knew. I didn't had an issue moving it, so I accepted it and gave them some options since I already had other tours arranged (Luckily not with them). They never gave me a follow up and I had to made contact many times to get a date and time. Finally they said it was going to be x day at x time (since the beginning when they asked availability to change dates, I told them that precisely we couldn't because it would overlap with my other tour to the Sixtine Chapel). So i told him that we couldn't , but if he gave me the tour on other times we could make it. He said that it was the only time, and refused to redound us, even though they were the ones unable to fulfill the contract. He left the time pass so it is a no show for me. Awful experience and because of the I wasn't even able to visit the coliseum since obviously the times were compromised.
The day before we were called to ask if there was any problem in moving to the group in English however when we accepted, we realized that the other family also spoke Spanish so in reality there were no guides in Spanish... I make the save for Giovanni that was super fun and enjoyable. He wasn't to blame!
