Jack was an amazing tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly There was a LOT of walking but he made sure we were all comfortable and the history just kept us engaged and made the 2 hours fly by.
The organizer canceled on us the evening before the booked tour. We were therefore unable to find a replacement and are very annoyed. Stay away!
A total scam! DO NOT purchase. They do not send the appropriate ticket.
Collection of tickets disorganised. Not received, emailed text 3 calls later and eventually got our tickets. The slot moved by an hour. Very unhappy, ruined our plans for the rest of our day. Was told would get 50% refund never arrived. Do not use this provider. Actually site amazing. The free audio you get is good but is provided free to everyone.
They canceled my tour an hour before it was supposed to start due to a system error; however, they later made sure to inform me where I could get the ticket again.
Although we had a digital ticket, it would not scan and the worker was frustrated and would not let us in. We asked to purchase tickets but they were sold out for the day so we did not get to enter the Colosseum. We were extremely disappointed. I suggest you buy tickets from the actual site well in advance of your travels so this don’t happen to you.
We booked in advance to have tickets secured for 9:00 am. As most people who visit Rome, our schedule was booked solid, and we had another tour booked during the later afternoon hours of the day. I specifically reached out to confirm by email weeks prior to our travel to make sure that our tickets had been secured for the date and time that I purchased. I was assured that our tickets were confirmed. The morning of, after we were already traveling to the Colosseum, I received an email changing our time to 12:30. This was completely unacceptable. Thankfully, we were able to buy tickets from the Colosseum directly and get in at 8:45. I would not rely on this company to provide the tickets for the date and time. I have requested a refund, however, I have not heard back from the company at this time.
After purchasing we were told we would get the entrance tickets the day before event. We hit that email but the actual tickets were never included. It gave us an address to go to get the tickets but that was just a street corner. The barcode that was sent was not the tickets either. Thankfully we found a number and someone answered and finally emailed us the correct link for the tickets. Also, we had the app to listen to the audio tour but we were unaware that the audio should be downloaded before we entered as service was not good and we could not download it. At least we got to enjoy the interior but they charge a lot over the actual entrance price.
We never received (via email or WhatsApp or any other way as indicated that we should) our tickets for entry into the colosseum or for the rest of the attractions included in this tour. We called the number listed for Prime Tours and no answer. We tried to find the office for Prime Tours, no luck. Replied to the email (with no response back) that was sent with the voucher and audio portion of the tour but the voucher does not work for entry, we were told we needed tickets which is different than the voucher. Our tour was supposed to be at 3:30 (we arrived at 2:30 trying to get answers as to how to get a ticket versus just the voucher we were sent). Once we realized there was no way to reach the company (Prime tours, which do they even exist)?it was too late in the day to purchase tickets from another vendor. We wasted our day, and didn’t even get to see the inside of the colosseum which was supposed to be the highlight of our time in Rome. Utter fail. I would love for the company to make this right someway, somehow.
I was notified the day we were heading by train to Rome that our visit was canceled, apparently a glitch in their booking and then was offered a different day two days away. We were only in Rome for that day so that didn’t work. I question the lack of communication. Not impressed but that seems to be how things go now a days☹️
