Guided Interior Visit: Begin your journey inside the Roman Forum, the political, religious, and commercial heart of Ancient Rome. Learn about the Basilica Julia and the penal system of Ancient Rome and its effects on Christianity. - You will need to pass through strict and mandatory security checks to enter the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Expect to wait 5 to 45 minutes to clear the security checks.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking.
- Trolleys and large backpacks are not allowed inside, neither are glass/metal bottles or sprays (e.g. perfumes etc.)
- All travellers must present a valid document or proof of ID
- Please be at the meeting point 30 minutes before the tour starts to complete the sign-up. After that, the group will leave and we won't be able to accommodate late arrivals
- The Roman Forums and the Palatine Hill are not wheelchair accessible
- This tour is subject to inclement weather conditions. If it is cancelled you will have the option to either reschedule or get a full refund
- Drones and knives of any kind are strictly forbidden at the monuments

Our German guide Francesca was excellent, but the scope of the offer was sparse for the price ($618 for two). Only a 30-minute stay in the arena of the Colosseum. Total duration 60 minutes. The visit to the upper floors was not included; Francesca gave us some tips for the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. However, without the audio guide, it was less informative.

Please note that the tour was 1 hour as scheduled - we even upgraded your visit to a tour of the Arena floor, which was not included in your original booking. As per the Roman Forum, as written in the voucher that was not included in the tour, however we did give you the tickets and you could enter on your own. Die Führung dauerte wie geplant eine Stunde – wir haben Ihren Besuch sogar um eine Besichtigung der Arena erweitert, die nicht in Ihrer ursprünglichen Buchung enthalten war. Auch das Forum Romanum war, wie auf dem Voucher vermerkt, nicht Teil der Führung. Wir haben Ihnen jedoch die Eintrittskarten ausgehändigt, sodass Sie das Forum selbst betreten konnten.

Tour was cancelled when we got to gate of Colosseum. Tour operator purchased wrong tickets. We were forced to wait on the 1.5 hour line to purchase tickets. Entire day ended up being lost.
Fantastic tour with a engaging guide Mario who really knew his stuff. Would highly recommend. Need to be relatively fit as tour was quite tiring.

Tour was good but book direct as trip advisor link wouldn't open so we didn't have any info on where to meet guide, hence running around in a panic looking for guide, we only found them by luck at last minute

We had the worst tour guide ever. He rambled on about nothing and would not answer any questions. We finally left and enjoyed the forum and colosseum on our own and eavesdropping on other guides.

Our tour lasted three hours long. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, but unfortunately he was very difficult to understand. He did speak English, but his accent only allowed us to understand 25% of what he was saying. We asked for an English speaking tour, and there was plenty of other tour guides that were easy to understand. Pretty disappointing, and frustrating as we really would have enjoyed hearing and learning more about the coliseum, and couldn’t.
