Very helpful! Was nice and walked us through our bookings.
Fine! Sandra has spoken to us well.
Absolutely appalling experience. We booked and paid for the “Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill” experience two months in advance, but when we arrived at the Touristation Aracoeli office in Rome with our two children, the staff told us they could not find our order. We had the correct invoice and proof of payment, yet our tickets somehow did not exist! Their only “solution” was either a refund or a new slot three days later. But we had flown to Rome just for the weekend, and this was supposed to be the highlight of our family holiday. The feeble excuses included: “It is Sunday, we cannot contact the colleagues,” and “Rome also has other nice places to visit.” One member of staff even said, “Something similar also happened to me in Paris,” as if that somehow made the situation acceptable! Shockingly disorganised, deeply unprofessional, and absolutely not a company I would ever trust again. To make matters worse, the promised full refund still has not arrived!
I purchased a "tour" through the Tiqets app that included "Admission to Arena Floor" but didn't get any of that. Arrived at the Touristation office, got my printed tickets, got instructions on where to walk and meet up with the "guide," then nothing. I arrived at the Colosseum (they didn't tell me which specific gate to go to, so I ended up wandering around trying to find how to get in), then once I got through security, all I could do was stand in a crowded little "balcony" area overlooking the arena floor. Did NOT get to access the arena floor, and never got to enter the 1st and 2nd levels. There was no "tour," no tour guide, nobody to meet at the Colosseum, nothing. Colosseum tickets are VERY confusing as to what you get and don't get. And yes, I realize I booked through a third-party tour company, not the official Colosseum site. Clearly the tickets were valid, I got through security just fine.
