Start your journey at Trajan’s Column, then enjoy a walk along Via dei Fori Imperiali, the grand road that cuts through the heart of Ancient Rome. Continue with a panoramic view over the Roman Forum, stroll through the charming Rione Monti neighborhood, and finish right in front of the Colosseum. Along the way, your guide will bring to life the history, power, and legacy of the Roman Empire, helping you discover the monuments and stories that shaped this extraordinary city. At the end of the tour, if you wish to visit the Colosseum inside, your guide will explain how to purchase the ticket directly from the official ticket office. The ticket costs 18 euros and can be purchased by credit card only.

Itinerary
The tour begins at Trajan’s Column, where we will admire from the outside the impressive monuments of Emperor Trajan, including Trajan’s Market, before walking along Via dei Fori Imperiali.
The second stop is overlooking the Roman Forum, where you’ll enjoy a stunning view of ancient Rome from above. This was the heart of daily life in the Roman Empire, filled with public buildings, basilicas, and homes.
The third stop is the Monti district, one of Rome’s oldest neighborhoods, still lived in by locals. Here, you’ll experience the true atmosphere of old Rome.
The final and most anticipated stop is the Colosseum. After discovering the history of this iconic monument, your guide will provide instructions on how to purchase tickets for the Colosseum and the Roman Forum archaeological area. Tickets must be purchased independently by participants, and availability is limited due to daily capacity restrictions. For this reason, we cannot guarantee 100% ticket availability.

We had an early morning walk starting at radiant column past some of forum to the colluseum. Our Guide Marco was fantastic, professional, friendly, welcoming , helpful and very knowledgeable. Thank you so very much Marco. Your pace of the tour was perfect. We were really lucky that it was private which made it extra special. Marco took some lovely photos of us too, and helped us with some of our tickets and orienting us for the rest of our day with some fantastic suggestions of other things to do in the area.
