The coffee farm tour was a great experience. We were taking round the farm and the processes of producing different shades of coffee. Tasted the coffees and also had some with cookies. It’s a good experience for lovers of coffee and non-lovers as well. The driver/guide Mr. Kim was also very nice throughout the period.
Do not use this tour company. Their page does not show you have to pay the entrance fee in addition to their fee until after you have paid. Only statement in exclusions is “Nairobi”. WTH does that mean? What do they offer for the $38 besides transportation. Book it separately yourself through Bolt for about $6.00 USD.
Dear Cory, We are very disappointed by your review, especially because it contains information that is incorrect and misleading. You booked the tour online, where all inclusions and exclusions were clearly listed before payment. You later cancelled the booking and never joined the tour, yet you are now claiming we “scammed” you, despite the fact that no service was provided and no interaction with our team took place. Your statement that we hide entrance fees is false. The entrance fee is clearly indicated on the booking platform under Exclusions, and every guest sees this information before completing their reservation. It is unfair to tarnish our company’s name with accusations that do not reflect your actual experience. We kindly request that you update your review to reflect the truth, as it misleads future travelers and harms a business that operates with transparency and professionalism. #Management.
This was an amazing experience. It began with our driver, John, who was early waiting for us at our hotel. We arrived and paid ($30 per person as stated on Viator) for the coffee tour. They took credit cards which was great. Raymond was our guide and he was awesome. We enjoyed every moment from walking the grounds to seeing the process to tasting the coffee. This experience far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!
It’s a scam, once you book the tour, the operator ask you for 30$ more as an « intrance fee ». It was not written on the trip advisor website (see picture below).
I did the coffee plantation tour and added the walking city tour on the same day, both with Kenya Bush Expeditions Tour. Shem, my guide, was amazing—super friendly, dynamic, and tailored the trip to match my goal of experiencing the real Nairobi. The tour went above and beyond, challenging some ideas I had before visiting. Excited to return for more Kenyan adventures. Thanks for an excellent tour! — Marie.
