It's such a unique adventure with a metaphysical and historical flavor. My other half and I had such a great experience. The tour guide is super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very funny. It is about a 14 hour excursion! Truly a beautiful, unforgettable experience. Booking the trip was super easy. We highly recommend this tour and tour company. We felt well taken care of the entire time.
Would’ve been 5* if all of the details were disclosed. Loaded up a bag with drinks, snacks, etc for the day and at our first stop, the tulum ruins, we were forced to throw away our food and beverages for the day. That wasn’t a great start. It would’ve been a little more effective going to the coba ruins first, so you’d be able to enjoy your breakfast and beverages in the morning. (tour pickup/starts early, so not much time in the morning to situate) In coba you can have anything you like. But in tulum, no plastic water bottles, no plastic bags, no snacks (chips/granola bars etc basically everything you’re gonna have is wrapped in plastic if it’s a snack) no food period. If you had a metal water bottle you’re in the clear. Cans are also fine, but beer/alc is not. Approx. 10 hour day, so starting with no water wasn’t fun. We ended our tour after the cenote, which was 10/10. A small group was a huge aid, the wife and I hurried up a little and spent the first few minutes with the whole place to ourselves. That felt surreal. Would recommend!
We were picked up at 8:30am and spent numerous hours picking up others and being transferred to a larger bus with other tours to get to the first location. Very little was communicated the entire time and we spent 9 fo the 13 hour excursion riding on a bus. (We were staying 2 hours away.) The tour wasn’t guided and almost no history was given about the sites we visited. We were just dropped and told to be back in an hour at each spot. The two ruins we visited were incredible but it was overshadowed by countless hours of being shuffled on and off a bus and driving for what seemed like an eternity. When we finally returned to our hotel at 10pm all options for dinner had closed. Overall it was incredibly disappointing.
Great Time and Experience! Augustine was amazing and very friendly. definitely recommend. picked up on time, the buffet was good ...and everything remained on schedule as planned
Driver was 45 minutes late for pickup in the morning supposed to be between 9:05-9:15, arrived at 10am. Also in coba it was impossible to walk to ruins and back within time allotted without having to rent a bike or the tricycle taxi, which of course was extra, and half your time your riding the bus with guides who do not enforce wearing a mask, not a good experience, ruins were awesome but tour was disappointing
Wonderful tour through Mayan history and some nature. Our guide Alberto was super helpful and resourceful! I loved the whole experience they provided for us! The only thing that was a downside was that they didn't seem to be using WhatsApp which was my only connection with the world when in Mexico :)
