Itinerary
Enjoy strolling around this picturesque Cotswold village often called 'The Venice of the Cotswolds' because of the small river that runs through the centre of the village. It does get busy in Bourton but we get here before the crowds so you can enjoy it at its best.
The modest farm shop that has become a legend to all viewers of Clarksons Farm. Chance to grab a selfie in front of the famous sign.
A beautiful and fascinating Cotswolds market town packed with stone cottages from a different age.
Minster Lovell is a hidden gem we would love to share with you. A last-minute addition when our tour planner’s inquisitive nature got the better of him, and we’re so glad it did, as its proof that the Cotswolds can surprise even us! He discovered a lovely street of picturesque, thatched cottages that leads to the enigmatic ruins of 15th century Minster Lovell Hall, which is said to be haunted by a young bride who disappeared on her wedding day. When you’ve finished exploring this strange and fascinating place.
Pop into the Farmer's Dog pub for a pint of Hawkstones Ale and a bite to eat.
Visit the home village of Gerald, one of Clarkson's Farm's best loved characters. Look out for Gerald's wall and hear of the history behind the Cotswold's distinctive dry stone walls.

This was a perfect tour! Christopher was such a great guide and he made the entire day so enjoyable! Excellent high quality vehicle and he was a very safe driver, even stopping for coffee along the way! He was so knowledgable and has incredible first hand experience with Jeremy so it was quite interesting to hear his stories. It was the hottest day on record in UK and he made sure we were comfortable in the AC and had water. 5 star tour and we would certainly recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a day in the Cotswolds. (Ps - have the potato salad at Chequers Pub if you stop)
We had the most incredible day on the Clarkson’s Farm / Cotswolds tour, made even more special by our driver, David. His passion for the Cotswolds was truly second to none. From the moment we set off, it was clear how much he genuinely loves the area, and that energy carried throughout the entire day. While the tour was centred around Clarkson’s Farm, David went above and beyond, sharing so much additional knowledge about the Cotswolds and pointing out hidden gems we would never have discovered on our own. He struck the perfect balance between informative and relaxed, making the experience feel personal rather than just a standard tour. You can tell he’s not just doing a job, he really cares about creating a memorable experience. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re lucky enough to have David as your driver.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Your guide David will be delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour so much. In depth local knowledge, passion for the areas we visit, and creating personal experiences is all part of our ethos. We would love you both to join us again sometime for another memorable Tour Britannia experience.
