Andy was an Excellent tour guide!!!
The boat ride was great. The microphone didn't work though so we caught every third word with a lot of not hearing in between. Would recommend if the microphone is replaced.
We had a great guide. Staff friendly. Boat clean. Even in the rain it was a great experience. Would do again!
Great experience and good value
Great way architecturally to see the city. The guide on the boat did a very nice narrative of what we were seeing.
The check-in and boarding process was a breeze. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bathrooms very clean. Our tour guide was fantastic (!!!!!) and offered the right mix of interesting facts and humor. We lucked out with spectacular weather and couldn't have been happier with the tour. Our group included my parents (early 80s) who previously lived in NYC for years and our family (mid 40s) visiting from France. Everyone found the content to be interesting and the views unparalleled.
Great experience! I have been to NYC several times and this is the first time that I have done the cruise. It was super fun, very informative and our tour guide was funny and even sung us a song at the end. It was a really neat experience to see the bridges up close and a unique view of the city; even more awesome was our up close and personal with Lady Liberty!
This cruise was amazing. The guide was very knowledgeable. She was fun and factual. The views were so good, great picture opportunities, just be prepared for wind (crazy hair), they left on time, we had plenty of time to take multiple photos at different stages. We had wonderful weather. Take sunscreen of setting on upper deck, we did get burned. They had snacks and beverages for sale. We wanted to do this to see the bridges and Our Lady Liberty things that if you are driving over you really can’t see well. And it was an enjoyable experience for our family.
This is a very well done, entertaining tour. Our guide was fantastic, giving plenty of good info without being overwhelming. The boat is well-equipped and the route makes for a good view from every seat. No need to pay more for the upgraded seats.
I have been to NYC several times but I had never done a boat tour. It was time! I purchased the 1.5 hr tour and thankfully it was a beautiful sunny day to see the Manhattan, New Jersey and Brooklyn skylines. It was only about $42 USD. The 2.5 hr tour will take you all around the island of Manhattan, while the 1.5 hr takes you south from pier 83, on the Hudson River, for close ups of the Statue of Liberty, then around lower Manhattan, and then north up the East River a distance to get a great look at the east side of Manhattan and west Brooklyn as you pass under the gorgeous bridges. Chris gave us a fabulous detailed commentary as we motored past stunning architecture. This activity is a must do!
