Description

In the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula, between the jungle and the whispering wind, begins an adventure to Chichén Itzá — the ancient Mayan city that continues to amaze with its architecture, symbolism, and astronomical precision. In front of the majestic Pyramid of Kukulkán, the sun lights up each stone as if revealing ancient secrets: the Maya observed the stars, measured time, and built temples that still stand as a testament to their greatness. The echo in the Ball Court and the grandeur of the Temple of the Warriors tell stories that come alive with every step. After exploring this sacred site, the journey continues to a crystal-clear cenote — a natural sanctuary where turquoise waters invite you to dive into a moment of peace, as if time paused among roots and stones. The journey ends in Valladolid, a Pueblo Mágico of colonial charm and vibrant colors, where Mayan and Spanish heritage blend in flavors, aromas, and warm smiles. It’s an experience where you are the protagonist.

Lots of driving on the bus and waiting

The tour guide was amazing and i loved the historical and social commentary. However, the trip was ~14 hours where the stops at the cenote + pyramids were 1 hour and 1.5 hours respectively. The rest of the time we were driving and waiting... Lots of selling of Mayan liquor and obsidian. I recommend renting a car and buying a tour at chichen itza and going to the cenote by yourself. Will be cheaper and faster.

Wonderful tour and guide! Really enjoyed it.

All of the trip was great, I would have liked a little more time at Chichen Itzá though as there was some of the complex I didn’t get to see. Wonderful tour guide though!

I would book this again!

The tour was amazing. My boyfriend and I originally had a tour booked through Airbnb, but they were no longer able to give us the date that we needed at last minute. We booked this tour last minute the night before and someone got in contact with us for the details immediately. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and I enjoyed the history lesson that came with our tour. The cenote was cold and refreshing! Perfect swim after walking around chichén Itzá in the sun. Having authentic Mexican food served by Mayan people during the trip was the cherry on top! I would do it again!

Operator response
