I don't know what else to say except you have to see these places. They're amazing, beautiful, historic... all of it. The stuff the Mayans built is just incredible. You won't regret going.
Seeing the scale and craftsmanship of what the Maya built in person often says more than any description can capture. We design this full-day experience to blend culture, history and smooth logistics across the Yucatán Peninsula, making it easy to visit Chichén Itzá and a cenote in one seamless itinerary. We’re glad the sites left such a strong impression on you. Thank you for sharing your experience with Tourballoon Travel!
We stayed in the Cancun hotel zone and this tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Pickup was right on time at 6:15 am. We rode in a comfortable, air conditioned bus with restroom. The whole tour is around 12 hours, but it didn't feel too long. Our guide Miguel made the day great. He kept us engaged with interesting information about Mayan culture. Chichen Itza is absolutely incredible. It's one of those places you see in photos, but being there in person is on a different level. Visiting one of the New Seven Wonders of the World felt like a real bucket list moment. We also visited cenote "Yun Chen" that our guide said is newer on the route and not very crowded. That turned out to be true and it made the swim feel more relaxing. If you want a stress free experience, we definitely recommend this all inclusive tour. It covers fees, taxes and food, so you can just enjoy the day.
Experiencing a bucket-list visit to Chichén Itzá and pairing it with a quieter cenote stop like Yun Chen creates the kind of full, well-balanced day many travelers look for from Cancún. We design this all-inclusive experience to blend culture, nature and smooth logistics across the Yucatán Peninsula, keeping the pace comfortable so the day feels engaging without dragging. Miguel will be glad to know his insights on Mayan culture kept everyone interested throughout the journey, and we appreciate your note about the convenience of having fees, taxes and food already included. Our day at Chichen Itza with this company was amazing. What I liked most was that the tour really includes everything. You pay once and don't have to think about extra costs or surprise add ons. There were just a few stops during the day, so it never felt rushed. I traveled solo and still felt totally safe and comfortable with our guides "Tony" and "Daniel". They were friendly, fun and created a relaxed atmosphere for everyone on the tour. Mexican food lunch was superb. The spicy options were completely up to you. The gacuamole was especially good. The cenote was the biggest surprise. I expected it to be crowded but it was almost empty when we were there. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. It's easy, well organized and great way to experience Chichen Itza with no stress at all.
Paying once and having everything covered without worrying about extra costs or surprises makes this kind of Chichén Itzá experience especially appealing for solo travelers. We design this full-day tour to blend culture, nature and smooth logistics across the Yucatán Peninsula, creating a relaxed and well-paced day with just the right number of stops. Tony and Daniel will be glad to know their friendly approach helped create a comfortable atmosphere, and we appreciate your note about the quality of the Mexican lunch and the unexpectedly quiet cenote. It was an awesome all inclusive tour with very knowledgeable guides, Samuel and Mayolo. We got picked up at a nice tour bus with A/C and usb charging at every seat. Check in once the guides got to our hotel was smooth. We were the second group picked up, and spent probably another hour and a half picking up everyone else. The tour starts at visiting the Mayan village and swimming in the Cenote which is very nice. Water is super glue and quite cold but acclimating is easy. There are spots to rent life jacket which is mandatory, and also locker rentals. Afterwards we went to Chichen Itza, it was awesome and the history is very interesting. It was quite hot and sunny so be prepared to bring hats/glasses and sunscreen. The breezes of wind made it bearable. The Vallaloid city was a quick 30 min stop before we went back to Cancun. The whole tour was very long. We were picked up at 6:50am and got back to our hotel at almost 9:30pm. On the way back, we stopped 30 minutes outside of Cancun, so the people who weren’t on the hotel “7” strip received a different transportation back to their pickup points. Overall, great experience and would recommend to anyone. I’ll definitely book again if/when I come back to Cancun
Experiencing a full itinerary that combines a Mayan village, a cenote swim and Chichén Itzá in one well-structured day gives future travelers a clear idea of how complete this tour can feel from start to finish. We design this all-inclusive experience to blend culture, nature and smooth logistics across the Yucatán Peninsula, and while the standard duration is around 12–13 hours, extended pickup routes and traffic can occasionally lengthen the return time. Samuel and Mayolo will be glad to know their knowledge and coordination made the day engaging and easy to follow, and we appreciate your practical tips about preparation for the heat and activities. Lots of misinformation on your description of this tour. The tour was in a small van not a bus with a restroom as described. I was given 2 small bottles of water all day. No umbrellas at Chichen itza. I waited an hour for am transport. The tour guide was very friendly and the places were great but your description was much less than what I rcvd for $185.00

A fantastic way to explore Chichen Itza in a day, comfortably on a bus, they take care of everything for you. We had considered going on our own, but we changed our minds after seeing all the fees and expenses involved. This tour, which includes all taxes and fees, seemed like one of the best options for a small family like ours. Having an experienced guide like "Ivan" is key. We felt safe and well taken care of. Thanks for everything. Highly recommended.

Chichén Itzá tour from Cancún – brilliant day out overall Really well organised from start to finish and our guide was excellent — really knowledgeable and made the history genuinely interesting. Chichén Itzá itself is absolutely stunning and 100% worth seeing. Just a heads up though: it’s a very long day (around 15 hours round trip) and the minibus is quite cramped, so it can get uncomfortable, especially on the journey back. That said, everything ran smoothly, we had enough time for photos and exploring, and overall it was a great experience. Would definitely recommend it if you’re staying in Cancún.

We design this full-day experience to blend culture, nature and smooth logistics across the Yucatán Peninsula, and while the standard duration ranges around 12–13 hours, high season traffic can extend travel times along the route. I wasn’t too sure about this tour when I booked it because I thought my teen sons would be really bored. We had an amazing tour guide Tomas, through Xcaret, who was very engaging and informative from the coach journey and throughout the tour was so good and straightforward. We also visited the Canote.. this was an incredible place, very special and beautiful. Highly recommend this trip.

Tomás will be glad to know his guidance made the journey clear and enjoyable, and we appreciate your note about how special the cenote felt. We arrived in Playa del Carmen eager to experience new things and do so in an adventurous way. As someone mentioned in the reviews, "The most beautiful places are in the Yucatan". This full-day trip didn't disappoint. Chichen Itza is magical, mystical and truly, without a guide, you'll have no idea what happened there. We had the best guide "Miguel". We were amazed by many things you don't see in videos or documentaries about the Mayans. In the cenote, we saw colorful fish with a snorkeling mask. The man-made architecture blended with the hand of nature makes this a truly wonderful place. Despite it being a peak season, each site is very well organized to avoid overcrowding. By the way, taxes and fees are already included!
It’s great to hear that discovering details beyond documentaries and then cooling off in a cenote with colorful fish made this day feel adventurous and special for you. We design this full-day experience to blend culture, nature and smooth logistics across the Yucatán Peninsula, creating meaningful moments for travelers from around the world. Miguel will be glad to know his guidance added valuable context during your visit. Transparent pricing with taxes and entry included is part of our commitment to clarity for visitors. We finally fulfilled our dream of experiencing a full day trip to see the Mayan city of Chichen Itza and other incredible places in the Yucatan such as the Xcayum natural pool and the city of Valadolid. Our guide David, the host, the driver and the customer service team deserve a 10/10. Everything is very well organized and you get exactly what you pay for. The Mexican lunch, the Mayan dancers, an authentic shaman and men in owl, jaguar and eagle costumes in the mayan style make this experience truly special. Tip: Arrange your dinner for when you're back (if you're staying in a hotel) because the restaurant might no longer be open by then. Overall, a great tour!
Glad to hear this tour helped make your dream a reality. Visiting Chichen Itza, Xcajum, and Valladolid all in one day is no small feat, and we're happy everything ran smoothly for you. David and the rest of the team will be pleased to know their effort stood out. Your note about the dinner timing is spot on. Great advice for future travelers!
