Excellent tour, would strongly recommend to everyone. The knowledge of the history by our tour guide Ester Miguel was outstanding.
Booked a tour where I was to be picked up by their vendor- Cancun Bay tours-at 7 am - Never showed, and no answer at the local phone number. Called Viator office several times, they said I was scheduled now for 810 -and said they would email the vendor - then I was told they would arrive by 810 - I asked if they spoke to someone they said no - it was just on the email- I waited until 830 - no one showed and no one called- I have used Viator several times and have been happy. This was completely devastated - I planned this tour for my 70th birthday--So it was too late by 830 to book a tour with my resort - which I should have done originally. I would like an explanation but there has been none. The second Viator rep I spoke to was rude. Thank you Viator for not following up and to this day, all I received was several requests to review - so here it is. It is not abut a refund, but shoddy customer service. On my 70th birthday to boot! I have cancelled future tours for upcoming trips I have planned. Viator and Cancun Bay Tours - DO BETTER!
Victor was so informative about the Matan culture, and he was just fun to listen to. It added so much to our visit to the cenotes and Chichén Itzá. I loved ziplining to drop into the clear water of the cenite; the Mayan ceremony to greet us, the amazing history and architectute of Chuchen Itza, and then at the end of the day, the stop at the town center of Vialladolid was just perfect! People dancing near the fountain, the selection of yummy street food.
Victor was lovely and very entertaining. Will do the trip again if he's my guide.
This was a great experience. The ruins and cenote and Mayans were great. I do not feel like the last stop in the old town was necessary though. Nor tequila tasting. Lunch was not very good either.
From the engaging tour guides to the lovely cenote swim, the Delicious Buffett lunch, Mayan demonstrations, and educational tour of Chichen Itza pyramids, this was definitely a day well spent! Would highly recommend
Full day tour to Chichen Itza was fantastic! Included a cenote stop, delicious Mayan lunch and tequila tasting. Provided plenty of water and other drinks to help stay hydrated on a very hot day. It is a full 12 hours and did require stairs so I wouldn’t recommend if you’re unsteady or wheelchair bound ( thought of my parents, and would absolutely not bring them).
Amazing guides, victor stood out for me. Amazing sense of humor and very knowledgeable on the topics at hand. Would recommend to anyone!
Victor was intentional, full of life, and loved on all of us all day! Our guides made history entertaining and kept the experience enjoyable the whole time. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience!! Made this trip memorable and fun. Thank you Red, Victor and Enrique.
