Itinerary
Before arriving at Chapala Lake, there will be a stop at this ranch, built in 1980, with more than 500 hectares.
We begin our tour to Chapala starting with the visit to the old station of the French facade train whose construction was completed around 1920. To continue with the beautiful boardwalk, we walk and admire the view of the largest lake from Mexico. By December 1955, Lake Chapala was in one of its worst droughts, that is why it is decided to take the virgin of Zapopan and make a pilgrimage looking for the miracle of the rain, as a result of this event in June 1956, it rained so much in the storm that it recovered and thanks to this miracle a thank-you mass is celebrated every year on the 1st of July.
Piedra Barrenada is a restaurant located at the shore of Chapala Lake, which offers good quality food at an excellent price.
Ajijic is a town located in the municipality of Chapala, it is located in the surroundings of Lake Chapala
We will continue our visit through the Floresta, a place where foreigners are looking for retire fleeing the extreme climates of their cities. We stop in Ajijic and free time is given to know. We board the truck and We will transfer to Piedra Barrenada, where the tourist is recommended to take the food at his expense. We conclude at the meeting point indicated by the guide and we undertake our return.

Ronny was very knowledgeable about the history of Mexico, Guadalajara, the towns we visited and Vicente Fernandez. Unfortunately the Tres Potrillos ranch was closed and we were very disappointed. The place that we stopped at for lunch was delicious!
We had an amazing time on this tour! The vibes and locations were absolutely awesome. Everything was well organized, and the experience was both interesting and fun. Our tour guide, Carmen, was the best! She was knowledgeable and made the whole experience even better with her energy and explanations. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and driver. 100% Highly recommend this tour!
I have mixed feelings. I bought the tour because it appeared that the entrance to Tres Potrillos was included and my mom and I wanted to go. And then we arrive before 11 o'clock which is the time they open to the public:( . But very friendly driver and cute little villages.

This was a great experience to explore different parts of Mexico. First stop Vincent Fernandez Ranch, second stop the lake town of Chapala, third stop a nice seafood restaurant on the lake and last stop Ajijic. It was a nice day with our tour guide Sergio.
We had a great tour guide who spoke both English and Spanish. The tour was everything promised and our driver did a superb job navigating the narrow roads in the towns. We had a wonderful time.
