The memorial’s name is a reference to the 1967 song Lennon wrote and performed with the Beatles, “Strawberry Fields Forever.

Fantastic tour of Central Park. Our tour guide Peter was very welcoming. He was funny and interacted with me and my family. His knowledge of the history of the park was good. Also his information of the buildings around the park was also brilliant. We had the one hour tour which I felt was enough time to see the park and take in all the sights.

**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Magical Pedicab Ride in Central Park with JOSEPH!** If you're visiting Central Park, do NOT miss the chance to take a pedicab ride—it was the highlight of our trip! From start to finish, the experience was unforgettable. Our pedicab driver was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fun facts and hidden gems about the park’s history, famous filming locations, and scenic spots we would have never found on our own. The ride itself was smooth, relaxing, and so much fun! Gliding through the park’s beautiful pathways, past Bethesda Terrace, the Bow Bridge, and Strawberry Fields, all while soaking in the fresh air and stunning views, was pure bliss. It’s the perfect way to see the park without getting tired from walking, and the open-air ride made it feel even more special. What really stood out was the driver’s JOSEPH’s enthusiasm and kindness—he even stopped at the best photo spots and offered to take pictures for us! The whole experience was personalized, engaging, and worth every penny.
