The Church of St Louis of the French, located between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona is known for its Baroque architecture by Giacomo della Porta and Domenico Fontana. Here at the Contarelli Chapel you can see marvellous frescoes by Caravaggio.
The Basilica of Sant'Agostino is one of the first Roman Renaissance churches and boasts many pieces of priceless art, which includes works by Caravaggio, Raphael and more.

Exceptional tour if you’re interested in Caravaggio and other artists who adorned the churches of Rome. We would never have found these masterpieces without our expert guide, Paola. She knew the opening and closing times of the many sights so we didn’t miss a thing. Learned so much about these enormous and intriguing paintings as we walked a long stretch of quaint and beautiful streets in Rome. Wear comfortable shoes as you will walk quite a distance. Well worth the time!
