Our Tour Guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza , and then he will accompany you to explore the famous Egyptian museum at Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo. where you can enjoy your time discovering the collections of more than 250 thousand artifacts telling the glorious history of ancient Egypt throughout the ages. Experience the treasures of the boy-king Tutankhamen and his inspiring magical golden mask . You can also visit to mummies’ room with (extra ticket on spot).
The end of our trip is to experience Old Cairo zone “Coptic Cairo”. This area is rich in both history and religious architecture. Here you will witness a living model of peaceful co existence among different religious communities so it is called religions compound. Your journey include a visit to the Babylon Fortress, the Hanging Church and other Coptic churches such as Abu Serga Church. The area has also Ben Ezra Synagogue and the Mosque of Amr ibn al-‘As.
Inside the walls of the citadel you will explore the famous mosque of Mohamed Ali, known as the Alabaster Mosque. It is one of the most beautiful mosques in Egypt its unimaginable decorations, lamps and ornaments. It was designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq that is why it is said that it is very similar to the Blue Mosque in Turkey.
Our next step is to visit the iconic Citadel of Saladin (Salah El Din Citadel) built in 1183 AD to defend Cairo from the potential attacks of the Crusaders’ armies. From it’s unique place you can enjoy a magnificent view of Cairo.

We booked this tour last minute, which was no problem. Our tourguide Ashour showed us all you can probably visit in one day. Even some extra wishes were no problem and so we added some more stops to this tour for a little extra money. Definitely a must do when you are in Cairo :)

To be in the metropolis of Cairo is already an experience to see the history of the city. The pyramids Memphis and Sakkara and the Egyptian museum. It is an experience that stays for a lifetime.Then the old Cairo with its Ottoman history is also an experience to see this.
