Butchart Gardens and City Private Tour
Description
We spend the first hour of this private tour on a brief City Tour that includes Chinatown, the Inner Harbour and Craigdarroch Castle. We then take a pleasant drive to the world-famous Butchart Gardens, which are about a 30 or 40 minute drive north of Victoria. Admissions to the Gardens are included and your guide will get you a garden map and take you to the iconic sunken garden, which was the first part of the garden to be developed, early in the 20th Century. Guests are able to explore these beautiful gardens at their leisure. Followed by a lovely afternoon high tea at the Gardens. Garden admissions and high tea are included in the tour. Victoria's historic Chinatown is fascinating and we experience the historic Chinese Public School as well as Fan site of former gambling dens and opium factories.

These beautiful gardens are now a National Historic Site in Canada. Visitors come from around the world to experience these fantastic gardens. Lovely afternoon high tea is included.

A great overview of the history and high points of the city. We got to go to the Butterfly Gardens, the Butchart Gardens and a wonderful high tea at Butchart Gardens overlooking a private garden. We learned so much about the history and development of the gardens and the various gardens, starting with the sunken garden. Our tour guide was expert in taking the perfect pictures of us at various locations. This was a luxurious, beautiful and perfect anniversary tour for us and we loved Graham. Everything was included in the cost (parking, entry fees and high tea costs. All we had to do was sit back and relax and walk around at our own pace.
The tour guide, Graham, was very knowledgeable and kind. He took us to the castle and gardens. We had high tea at the gardens and had fun conversing. Highly Recommend!
