Friendly and knowledgeable crew; we saw about 4 pods of orcas and even one breach! It was an amazing day!
Beautiful Orcas! It is our favorite activity from our trip. The crew was amazing! Amber and Andre were ver informative and they shared amazing pictures that they took from our trip. I highly recommend this adventure!
The staff was great. Rajan was at the front where we were and his knowledge was excellent. We saw a pod of Biggs whales, killer whales.
Rajan was so knowledgeable and friendly. Richard, Lindsay, Reid and Michael all were very professional. We’ll be back!!!
Had a great time on my first whale watching trip! Reid was so sweet and Michael & Rajon were very knowledgeable on the wild life findings, making it very enjoyable. We had a very close encounter with a humpback whale that was apparently an extremely rare sighting. If I didn’t live so far away I would definitely come back.
Absolutely fabulous! Crew was so knowledgeable and entertaining!! Well done, Richard, Lindsey, Rajan, Michael, and Reid
A great trip with knowledgeable and helpful guides, all of whom were committed to maximising the experience for us
A really good half day out, well worth the money.
Thank you for your 5-star review, Linda! We are so glad you enjoyed your tour with us. We hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!
Excellent trip, booked through Viator. Checked in & they had a monthly calendar showing what whales had been seen each day & every day for June there had been sightings. Greeted by the Captain Richard & first mate Gordon, who gave a brief on safety & what the morning entailed. Once on board full safety brief given then allowed to sit where we wanted. Crew, Andrei, Rhiannon & Lauren were going round all the time giving brief on what we could see. About half hour out we saw 3 humpback whales, again the crew spoke about the whales & habits etc. we then went further out to a spot where there had been a sighting of Orcas & came upon a small pod of 6. Such an amazing sight to see these mammals in their natural surroundings. All the vessels out that day followed the rules of not getting any closer than allowed to enable us to see them but allow the whales to be safe. After the trip we received via email photos & videos taken of the whales by the crew of our trip. Would definitely recommend this company.
Thank you for your wonderful review, Audrey! We are so glad you enjoyed your tour with us and got to see a pod of orcas and some humpbacks, what a treat! It's great to hear that our crew made your experience so memorable and that you enjoyed learning more about the incredible marine life around Vancouver Island. We're also happy to hear you loved the photos we took! Thank you so much for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back on another adventure soon!
Worst experience of our Canada trip which was supposed to be one of our best. Safey was our biggest concern. We were terrified on this trip. The boat operator hit a wave at the wrong angle, and it knocked passengers over on the bottom deck. The wave went over the front of the boat, and the windshield wipers had to be turned on. We felt the boat operator was not as careful as he could have been with children on board. Not at all what we expected. We understand that there are no guarantees to see whales, but the tour guide actually clapped and congratulated us for not seeing whales. She claimed it was the first time that she did not see whales on a tour. We went on the 9 am tour and there were lots of white caps. Impossible to spot a whale's spout. Waste of time and money.
