Bob was great and very knowledgeable. My bike was a little old and breaks didn’t work great. My daughter’s bike was very nice and new. I would suggest telling people what to bring in terns of water and bags as several of the international people had way too much stuff to carry on a bike.
Went with Glenn - it was great - entire trip was perfect
Alex, our tour guide, was excellent. We had a great time, learned about the city, and got some great pictures together.
Great way to explore NYC! Our tour guide Danielle was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend!
We asked for electric bikes and when we arrived they were not charged so we had simple bikes
Overall the Brooklyn bridge tour was good in terms of places visited and the knowledge of the guide. The issue was one family who joined shouldn’t have been there. The parents were very average at cycling. The 13 ? year old fell badly and had to be removed. The dad and the 8 (?) year old continued and how the 8 year old wasn’t killed I will never know. It was a mistake by the family to come but also the tour company to allow them. It had an impact on mine and the others on the our experience. We were terrified for the family.
Overall, the experience was positive but there are areas for improvement: 1) Request for ID to be left and $1 fee -I have been on many bike tours and this has never been requested. If leaving ID is a requirement, it should have stated upfront during booking . The $1 fee requested I feel was a way for the tour company to get extra money for the tour. Again, this has never happened to me in any bike tours. 2) When we arrived, there was a lot of confusion about who works there and who I should talk to sign in. The request for ID and also the $1 fee also significantly delayed the process. 3) the tour guide was fine but there could have been more interaction and story telling .
Our guide Benjamin was superb, he was engaging and shared some great facts and stories along the way. We had a fabulous time!
What a fantastic bike tour we had! It was a feeling temperature of 45 degrees but the originally Belgian Gunther continued to tell beautiful and fun stories and anecdotes with enthusiasm. He sensed the group, 5 Dutch and 2 Belgians well and made sure that each had time at his own pace for the climbs of the two bridges. Gunther, thanks again for a super tour! Greetings from Jaap, Joke and Meola
Great way to see a lot of the city in a short amount of time! Brian was a superb guide. You will be on streets and some inclines, so not recommended if you are not at least somewhat fit or confident on a bike.
