Itinerary
The tour begins by picking you up at your Dresden hotel, Airbnb or elsewhere in Dresden. Our comfortable vehicle will then transport you to the German part of the National Park. The snacks and beverages along the way in combination with an informative description of the passing landmarks will make the journey over in no time.
Our first destination is the magnificent Bastei Bridge (Saxon Switzerland, Germany). The breathtaking view of the Elbe River Canyon, high above which the Bridge perches, will be engrained into your memory forever. Watching the sunrise above the unique sandstone pinnacles is a priceless experience.
The easy scenic walk across the Bastei Bridge is finished by an excursion of the medieval castle ruins of Felsenburg Neurathen (13th cen.), located at the other end of the Bastei Bridge.
The following jurney takes us over the border to the Bohemian (Czech) part of the National Park. First we will visit Sneznik- lookout from 19. century. The views will be spectacular. In good weather you will be able to see all surrooundings including Dresden and the Bohemian Saxon Switzerland national park. In summer you will have the option instead of walking take the scooter for the way down the hill (fee not included since not always available).landscape.
Before exploring the Tyssa sandstone labyrinth, a rich lunch in the local-cousine style will be served to you (vegeterian options available), including a drink of your choice.
Finally, the Chronicles of Narnia filming site will be visited - the Tyssa Walls. While famous among rock-climbers and locals, this place remains relatively unknown to the international public, in spite of the Narnia movie having been filmed there. You will surely appreciate the lack of crowds, so typical of the historical European cities or the other natural monuments. The fantasy atmosphere of the labyrinth as well as the upper platform view will make this your own personal Narnia experience. The tour will end by dropping you off in Dresden at your accommodation or elsewhere in the city.

Tour was well organized and ran smoothly. Matyas was a great guide and friendly to everyone, communicative and willing to ask questions. Tour was willing to pick me up and drop off from different locations and was willing to help tour members with whatever issues they had.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're delighted everything ran smoothly and that Matyáš helped make your day enjoyable with his friendly attitude and great communication. We're also glad our flexible pickup and drop-off service made things easier. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to see you again on another adventure!
The views at the three stops on this trip were amazing and more than I expected. The hike up to the Arch was more intense that I thought it was going to be but still anyone in moderate shape can do it if they take their time. The hike up is definitely worth it! The restaurant for lunch had excellent food and a great view of the Arch and surrounding scenery. Our guide and driver were locals with a lot of information and more than happy to talk with us.
Hi Sarah, thank you for the nice review. We are happy you enjoyed all 3 sites and that you had a great lunch as well! The food is another highlight in this trip :) Best, Uniline Team
What an amazing tour! Our guide, Daniel, was both our driver and guide. He is very knowledgeable of the sites we visited, and articulated his knowledge skillfully. The three sites are incredibly scenic and the tour included a delicious lunch at an alpine restaurant. I highly recommend the tour and Daniel as the tour guide
Thank you so much for your fantastic review! 😊 We're delighted to hear you had such a memorable day with Daniel. Being both a great driver and an engaging guide is no easy task, and we're thrilled his knowledge and passion helped bring the region to life. We're also glad you enjoyed the stunning scenery and the lunch. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back again soon! 🌲🏞️✨🚐
Unline team is incredible. The driver Daniel picked us up on time and the guide Joseph is amazing. The scenery, the hike, and the stories Joseph told were very memorable. Definitely recommend this one!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊 We are very happy to hear you enjoyed the scenery, hiking, and stories during the day. Daniel and Josef will both really appreciate your kind words. Creating memorable experiences is exactly what we aim for. Thank you for recommending our tour and for spending the day with us!
Trip was great. Nice and knowledgeable guides. Martin was punctual and kind. Scenery was beautiful. Lunch and transport were top notch. If you are visiting Prague and have an extra day, we would recommend.
Thank you very much!
This trips was amazing!! Alex was a great guide, getting us to all the optimal places with the lease amount of crowds, offering great information and pacing to the entire trip. Top notch service - beautiful way to see the country side around Prague.
Thank you!
The trip was amazing. Our tour guide, Anna, was so nice and knowledgeable. For the second stop, a huge bolder fell, and the route was blocked off. She was very flexible and took us somewhere else that she had never been before so we still got to see something! The driver was also talkative and great. I would highly recommend this tour!
Thank you so much for saying that, we apologise for that again and at the same time we are very glad that you had a nice day with us!
Fantastic! An unforgettable experience. Scenic views and beautiful landscapes :) Very knowledgable and friendly guide
Great! Thank you!
We took this trip to get away from the museums and churches. This is a nature and part historical trip. We started in the morning around 8:30 AM and the trip was full day returning around 6:00 PM. The trip took us to the natural park spread over Germany and Czech republic. We had a small group of eight people. Our first stop was on the Germany side of the park. It was a hike with several viewing stops. The view is awesome. Then we drove to the Czech side and took a 2 KM hike each way. Once again the view was awesome although the trees were burnt because of a forest fire two years back. Then we stopped for lunch. The lunch was very good. The Snitzel with Potato that I took was great. The ice cream and the lemoinade was very good. The last part of the trip included another 2 KM hike and a boat ride then hike back to the vehicle and drive back to Dresden.. The driver and our guide Dalibora were great.
Thank you So much, your feedback means a lot to us. Kind regards
The tour exceeded my expectations. It was a good break from the history and cultural tours of Europe. It was partly historical, mainly nature and little bit of hiking. The driver and tour guide Dalibora were excellent. They were always on time, worked with the group and never rushed us. They were very caring and knowledgable. Our tour group was small (eight people) and was the right size. The included lunch was awesome. The views were breath taking.
Thank you for your kind words. It really makes our hearts happy when our guests are satisfied with their trip. Best regards
