It was an amazing experience! We left at 6pm and came back around 9pm. The weather was absolutely perfect, and we saw the most beautiful sunset. Also spotted some dolphins, it was truly magical! 5/5 recommend
We booked the trip the day before and had to pay for it in advance. About 15 minutes after the agreed departure time, and only after we contacted the intermediary ourselves, we found out that the boat would not depart. The reason given was bad weather. However, all other service providers operated their trips that day. The weather was sunny all day, with no wind. Because of this late cancellation, we were no longer able to buy tickets for any other boat trip, so we were left without any boat excursion at all.

I was with my husband in Marettimo on Saturday 9 September 2023. The tour of the island of Marettimo and the visit to its caves with Gaspare and his Blumoon boat was something enchanting! We stopped to swim where the water was an indescribable turquoise colour! Gaspare told us a lot of interesting things about his island, but above all he told us about his choice to continue living in Marettimo, despite the difficulties. His life choice truly honors him, a man who tries to enhance and make his island known. I would never have gotten off that boat... and I would have done the tour a million times so as not to miss any of the wonderful views that Gaspare made us admire and print them in my mind.
