Locorotondo to Alberobello E Bike Tour
Description
You can join this tour with your own e-bike at no extra cost, or reserve an e-bike ready for you on site for €45, payable locally. The homemade gelato stop is optional: gelato is paid directly at the shop. For children’s e-bikes, child tandems and child seats, please check the “Included/Excluded” section. Enjoy a scenic guided e-bike loop from Locorotondo to Alberobello through the heart of the Valle d’Itria. You’ll ride along quiet country roads lined with dry-stone walls, trulli, vineyards, wheat fields, oak trees and olive groves. In Alberobello, you’ll discover how trulli are built, why this architecture is so unique and why some roofs feature painted symbols. You’ll also reach a panoramic viewpoint for memorable photos over the trulli rooftops and the surrounding valley. Back in Locorotondo, you’ll explore the lime-whitewashed historic center and its typical cummerse houses, while hearing local curiosities about the village, its architecture and its traditions.

Rocco was an amazing guide. He was very personable, provided historical information on the cities and was a great bike ride through the countryside to the different towns. Highly recommend!
If you really want to get a feel for what Puglia is like and learn about the history of the famous Trulli, then this experience is definitely for you. Your guide Rocco is very knowledgeable and helps make the experience an enjoyable one. We did the Locorotondo to Alberobello tour, but Rocco does many other tours too. This tour had the right blend of countryside and urban scenery with stunning views. The equipment is first class and with the motorised bikes, it makes the experience so much easier to enjoy even for those of us who are less fit than others. I would definitely recommend this experience, as you will not be disappointed!
