Learn about the history it commemorates and the importance of remembering these events in today's world.
Your next stop is the Topography of Terror, a poignant and permanent exhibition located on the former site of the Gestapo and SS headquarters. Here, your guide will lead you through the exhibits that detail the rise and fall of the Nazi regime, offering a deep and sobering insight into the atrocities committed during this dark period.

We did the free tour in Berlin with Gabriel. Excellent tour, very well prepared and explained. We loved it!!
Very nice tour guide. The tour was the perfect length and he kept us in the shade. Overall a really positive experience!
Marcel is a wonderful guide. He could state the history very well and yet make it very interesting. One of the best local tours I ever had.
Marcel is a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and easygoing. Never boring. With him, time flew by.
Great tour around Central Berlin with Marcel as our guide. He's very knowledgeable about the history of the city. The walk is around two hours but at fairly easy pace and visits some important and interesting places.
It was very well explained and the guide was very good...but at the end of the tour we had to pay him (if I work according to him) and we had already paid previously...we should advise or inform this detail...otherwise very well everything
We had a tour with guide, Nir. He was an excellent tour guide, with many interesting wee facts. The pace was easy and the length was just right (around 2h). So.much significant history.
The best walking tour . Our tour guide was from Ireland he was full of information and character given the topics were sensitive at times. Loved it . Would go again . It is lots of walking so wear comfy shoes
Our guide was really knowledgeable and enjoyed sharing what he knew. He covered a lot of different eras including but no exclusively the Nazi era and the cold war years. It was my first visit to Berlin and it really helped me to make sense of the city's past. My one reservation was that he didn't seem to know how many people were in his group and didn't check that everyone was keeping up when they stopped to look at something or fell behind (he kept up quite a brisk pace!)
Excellent tour, enjoyable and knowledgeable - highly recommend taking this tour if in or planning to visit Berlin - Marcel was our guide and could not ask for better
