Itinerary
Embark on this culinary journey in the German capital with us. You will explore the Mitte district, which once was divided in two by the famous Berlin Wall, and you will try a multitude of flavours, which have made Berlin a city to discover through your taste buds, as well! Please, notice that the tastings here described may change due to the season and the availability of our partners.
We will start our tour in one of the most famous squares in the world, Alexanderplatz, with the iconic Berliner Fernsehturm, the Television Tower. From here, you will take a walk across the Mitte district with our local expert and have a taste of some of the most beloved dishes in Berlin, starting from a staple of German cuisine: Currywurst!
Have a seat in this eclectic restaurant and try one of the most famous dishes in town: doner kebab! Here you will discover how this dish - originally from Turkey - has become one of the staples of Berlin cuisine, with a lot of contemporary variants as well.
Germany is well-known for its beer, so we can't lead you through Berlin flavours without a beer tasting in a local brewery. Here, in a local brewery near Hackescher Markt, you will have a sip of different local beers and each one of them has its own particular characteristics. Which one will be your favourite?
You will finish your culinary journey on a sweet note, with one of the most famous German dessert: the Berliner Krapfen. WWith its jam filling and a sprinkle of sugar on top, it's the perfect way to end your experience in Berlin!

What a lovely tour. Marta was so knowledgeable about the history of Berlin and it's culture. Food was great in 3 different eateries followed up with a beer tasting session. A great way to stroll around the city, eating and drinking as you go. Highly recommend
We had an amazing tour with Marta. She was so knowledgeable and went over and above to ensure we got the most out of our tour. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Marta was amazing, funny, and made eating in Berlin authentic! Highly recommend the food tour.
Marta was such an amazing and knowledgeable hostess. The pacing of the tour was perfect even for a hot day, and we got to both learn about some important history and eat it as well. 😁
Nichole was an excellent guide. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the city and its culture. The food tastings were delicious- best Doner kebab I’ve ever had. With so many food options in Berlin was great to have someone to guide us. Great idea to do this on your first day as gives you some options to go back to places on another day - which we did!
Great guide. But a food tour needs more food for that price. $150 for two people. We had 2 dinner items, shared a flight of beers, and received a donut to take back to the hotel. Both dinner items were street food. We did get a lot more history and stories of the neighborhood than I anticipated but this was more of a history walking tour than a food tour. I Would have no complaints at $100, but at that price I should have had more high quality samples of food than that.
An historical tour intermingled with three food stops and finishing with beer sampling. Our guide took us down streets and to eating places you are unlikely to visit on a regular tour or whilst wandering around on your own - in other words, it gave us a completely different feel to the city. The food of course was v typical of Berlin and was extremely tasty whilst the story behind the beers was v interesting.
A good blend of history and food, though the food experience was not as extensive as expected for something billed as a ‘food tour’
Excellent guide and tour. We met at St. Mary's Church and just a few minutes later we saw a memorial we would have never found. Juan knew the history of the neighborhood and showed us remnants from WW2 that we did not expect on a food tour. We made 4 stops, three for food and one beer tasting. All food stops were from small, ower run establishments and Juan was well versed in the ingredients and the history of the food.
The tour led by Juan was fabulous. Loads of interesting stories in areas you would never see as a newbie to Berlin and visiting food hubs that you eould probably pass by. Great food, great drink, a wonderful guide. Thank you Juan!!
