When you’re on the bus it’s great as you put your earphones in and choose the language you want to listen to information in. However you have to find your bus stop and it’s really not very clear where the bus stops are. They could make this clearer on the information leaflet they give you. We were at alexandraplatz where buses go two different ways, we asked for help and people gave us false information and we got on the wrong bus which then took us over 80 minutes to get where we wanted. The service also stops at 6 o’clock which is a bit silly towards summer time when it’s bright and people are still discovering. I’m 50/50 about recommending as it’s fun to get on and convenient but also finding stops are not clear and service stops early in the evening.
English narration was recorded and kept cutting off mid sentence throughout the tour. Dissatisfied with lack of complete sentences etc. missed lots of information. If narrative is corrected I would recommend tour.
Lisa was very helpfull and gave us directions
A pleasant ride that we did to look at the various areas of Berlin..!!!! A quiet ride that made us discover what we could not walk, in positive experience... Ps. Given the cold temperatures to appreciate the heating over the coach..
Interesting tour through the most important landmarks in Berlin. The audio descriptions were really good.
Interesting tour with stops at many historic and cultural sites. Cheaper to book online. Would recommend.
This is one of the best hop on hop off tours we have done. And we have done a few. The buses are clean and all have WiFi and the stops are easy to find. Getting our original ticket was simple and, once on a bus, we used the map and the voice over to quickly orient ourselves in a city that was totally new to us. We had the 48 hour ticket, so by day two, we had used the busses to get us to other tours, lunch spots and to revisit areas that piqued our interest. With buses every 20 minutes, and a cross over point that allowed for shorter journeys, we were able to take in so much more of Berlin than we had originally hoped for. Two thumbs up guys. This is an awesome experience!
Worth it to see the best landmarks of Berlin! Earphones and maps were not handed so we had to find them ourselves on the bus.
Borderline farcical as we made to change bus twice for no apparent reason. One tip - at no stage was any interest shown in ticket checking!
After walking for hours on our first day we decided to try the bus the next day. We should have done this on day 1 as the bus covers all the tourist areas and many of the sites did not need extra time To explore. I would recommend doing this first and then deciding what to explore further. Also the tickets were dar cheaper to buy at the stop rather than online. Just check they give you the right number of earphones. We bought 2 tickets but were only given one. This wasnt a problem as we used one ear each!
