Scam We never came in They cancelled our reservation and never sent our tickets but failed to tell us!! Worst experience to stand in front of colosseum and not being able to enter because we chose a scam company!!!! On TripAdvisor!!!!!!!
At 7 am we starting heading to the coliseum for our 9:30 am tour we arrived and not received ticket yet. We call none answer at 8:30 they answered and they told us that our time has changed to 12:45 pm. Because they gave our tickets to someone else. So we have to wait under the heat for 4 hrs in the middle of thousands of people. Then they sent us our tickets through WhatsApp at 10:00 am. We de used to do the forum when we approached the gate they scared the tickets and were only paid for 2 instead of 4. 2 tickets were missing again go back to the line and wait for 2 more tickets. After calling the office number they finally se t the missing 2 tickets. We were already short of time. At 12:00 pm we head to the gate for the coliseum … at the gate they asked for our identification…. Guess 2 tickets were under someone name ….. another delay it was a night mare after calling the office again for the 4th time and they didn’t have our names in the tickets. I had explained the gate lady all the mistakes trip advisor office has done. This people don’t understand that mistakes like screw everyone vacation. After all we entered were able to run through the coliseum because Bookin had a perfect tour on time for us a tour that was on time. TripAdvisor partner tour really bad very bad.
They canceled our tour just one day before the visit and told us that it was booked due to a glitch in their system. We booked the tour atleast couple of months in advance and they had all the time to notify about the so called 'glitch' but still didn't. Terrible.
We had an ok experience. The tickets worked and got us in to the coliseum, but as I saw in other reviews, Viator did move our time back. We booked for 12:00, and we got an email the night before saying our tickets were pushed back to 1:30. We did receive the audio component and the tickets in an easy to manage way, but we ended up not using the audio component. Did not think the $43 was worth the cost because of this, but that was our fault for not using the audio.
We were very disappointed in what happened to us with respect to our tour of the Colosseum. Due to a train being cancelled on us and forcing us to "Plan B" how we got to Rome, we were about 1-hr late for our scheduled time to tour the Colosseum. This was totally beyond our control. Yet, we were repeatedly told that "No we couldn't go in later than our scheduled time" and "No our tickets couldn't be transferred to a later time or date." This was very disappointing as the Colosseum was something we were very much looking forward to. I get that we were late... but our being late was caused by Trenitalia cancelling one of our trains, without alerting us. Our lateness was not caused by us nor within our control. While we were able to visit the Forum we spent about $160 to see the Forum & the Colosseum.
Tickets were cancelled at last minute. Waiting for my refund. Very poor experience No reason was given in the phone.
Missed out on my paid Palatine forum because there were no signs or directions. Crowds just walking randomly from one level to another.
Activity cancelled by the claimant, i.e. a computer incident and more space available. I am promised a refund within 3 days, it's been more than a month and still no refund despite sending several messages without reply
Unfortunately, my experience with the purchase of tickets was very negative, not by the monument itself, but by the management of the company. Due to an unforeseen issue/schedule, I was unable to make the visit. I tried to contact customer support to understand the next steps, but the service was inefficient. Two weeks have passed and, despite the resolution attempts, I feel there is a lack of transparency in the return process and in the after-sales support. The attendance service did not offer a clear solution, which made the experience frustrating for a traveler who relies on an organization. I recommend caution regarding the agility of this company's support
All went to plan. I thought the audio was too academic and switched it off. Colleseum terrific
