Great tour with Jakob. It was interesting hearing his perspective coming from the grandchild of a holocaust survivor. He even gave us some restaurant recommendations. We did a small group tour the day before and honestly, it was about the same as the private tour but we enjoyed both. Plus we got to ask a lot of individual questions and Jakob was happy to answer everything. He even commented that we were much more educated on WWII history than his typical American clients so he was able to go into greater detail.
Thanks for your review. We hope to see you on another Insight Cities tour in any of our cities - Prague, Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, or Salzburg.
We had a great tour with Forrest. He did a great job adapting the tour to include a section on Jewish Berlin to suit the interests of our visiting friends. He was a great tour guide - easygoing and highly knowledgeable. We felt like we had only scratched the surface of his knowledge of Berlin's history. We're residents of Berlin, and not only did our visitors have a great introduction to Berlin, but we also learned a lot about our own neighborhood.
Thank you so much for this review of Forrest's tour! Glad you found in enriching even as Berlin residents. Hope to see you again on our tours in Central Europe! Insight Cities
We started at Zoo station, the place Bowie started at when he moved to Berlin in 1976. Our knowledgeable guide Ronen walked us through Bowie's Berlin, sharing his knowledge of Bowie's experiences, journeys and his music. We ended at Hansa studios where Bowie crafted one of his most memorable songs, Heroes. I loved every moment of the tour.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour. It was very informative and well planned. We had our 8 year old with us and she had a great time as well.
Thanks for the positive feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the tour. We hope to see you on Insight Cities tours again, perhaps in our other cities: Prague, Vienna, Salzburg and Budapest. Safe travels!
