Salvatore was an excellent guide: responsible, very knowledgeable about the area, extremely helpful and funny. Knows his languages. Very comfortable ferries and enough time in Amalfi and Positano to visit sights, eat and swim in the sea.

We did the tour with Guia Salvatore which was extremely friendly and requested. When he saw that we were Brazilians he immediately began to speak to us in Portuguese. During the whole tour that made a difference. I recommend!

Before I begin with a detailed breakdown of the experience, it is important to say that while incredibly beautiful and picturesque - if you are looking for the social media version of the Amalfi Coast, during the height of Summer this is a very unrealistic expectation. Unsurprisingly due to its high profile it is an incredibly busy part of the world, and by busy I mean like sardines stuffed inside a very small can. To the organisers, our guide was very welcoming and organised, aided us through the busy ports and kept us right. He was a funny chap and provided some hilarious sound bites. However, we were unable to hear much of the information about the coast that he shared via the radios due to having one earpiece only, and the high noise of the boat - I would suggest better earpieces. We feel that the timings of the two stops may benefit from being flipped the other way round, Amalfi was beautiful if a little lacking in substance. It is clearly a solely tourist town and as previously stated, beyond its beauty had little substance. Positano on the other hand we found much more enjoyable, its beauty and candour was a joy to behold and visitors would perhaps benefit from longer to peruse its winding alleys and incandescent stairways. In terms of value for money, I would still recommend this as an excursion, however, some tweaks would have tipped this up a notch or two for us.

First things first, a very long day started at 7:30 and ended around 6:30, so its very much worth the money. My partner and I had Paola, and she was fantastic, she was very clear with the meeting instructions and our times in both Amalfi and Positano. Only hiccup was the radios didnt work, but Paola worked around this and made sure everyone got the information they needed, But in all honesty the radios weren't important, we were there to see the beautiful cities of the Amalfi coast. I would highly recommend this anyone.

We had an amazing day exploring the Amalfi Coast and Positano. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish.
