It was fantastic our guild was amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly. Kepted it exciting. Know how to be in control during the whole trip even with a emergency that arose with a traveler with the group.
This was a fun and organized experience. Our guide knew so much and was able to answer any questions the guests had.
Very knowledgeable guide.would have like to see more than one cemetery or graveyard.
We had Geoff as our tour guide who is a fantastic story teller. Unfortunately, the itinerary on Trip Advisor is not accurate to what the tour is. We stopped at the Odd Fellows cemetery and had a walking tour. We went to Morning Call after. Then we went to the Charity Memorial and Hurricane Katrina cemetery. Well, stopped outside of it because it was closed; that was a bummer. We didn’t stop at/pass by the Cypress Grove Cemetery or The Herb Import Company like it says on Trip Advisor page. I feel like the price was high for what all was included, which was a limited amount of experiences. I did walk away with more information than I started with and learned a lot about different types of burial sites.
Best educational cemetery tour. Visited Odd Fellow cemetery and Charity Hospital cemetery (front gate) which are most unique ones in town. Former funeral director and a big paranomalist, Geoff’, guide, shared his deep knowledge of cemeteries in NOLA and respect to each person who rests in the cemetery. I wish the tour was longer to hear more of his story. We did 0930 tour. It was cooler in summer. Ok to bring drinks on the bus. Bathroom break in a middle. Definitely recommend. If possible, watch a movie, “Big Charity” before going to the tour.
If in New Orleans, do the cemetery 1 tour. If you’re lucky, you’ll get Mary guiding your tour. You will get a history lesson you’ll never forget.
Although the tour guide was very knowledgeable the tour itself was not very exciting. Honestly, it was rather dry and uneventful.
It was an experience worth doing. Learned scary facts about the city! We even got an EMF meter to use at the cemetery.
Had such a great time! Learned a ton of information as well. I’m a professional genealogist, and love visiting graveyards. I appreciated how knowledgeable Geoff was as well. I found this tour to be well worth the money.
Geoff was an amazing tour guide👍…so enjoyable….and knowledgeable Fun memories!
