This game drive is a perfect time for viewing most of the wildlife in the park as they are still in one place before dispersing because of the sunlight. On your drive you will view many animals like lions, leopards, elephants, wildebeest and many more. On the cultural tour in the Masai village you will encounter a series of traditional practices, culture, and norms such as the beautiful Masai local manyattas, Masai local songs and dances. The typical cultural wear including beautiful beads and square fabrics. After this unique cultural tour, you will drive back to your lodge. Excitement will overwhelm you as you wake up early for an adrenalin filled hot air balloon safari! This exclusive safari offers you an eagle’s eyes view of the park and its animals, something very few people on earth can experience. Your breath will be taken away while admiring animals in packs like elephants, wildebeests and many more. Enjoy sundowners and have dinner while the sun part beautiful African sky.
After spending three days in the Maasai Mara, known for its vast savannah and abundant wildlife, the journey to Lake Nakuru National Park offers a chance to explore a different side of Kenya. The drive from Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru typically takes about 5 to 6 hours by road, depending on road conditions. The route will take you through beautiful landscapes, including rolling hills, farms, and small villages, giving you a real taste of Kenya's countryside. Check into your lodge or camp near Lake Nakuru National Park. Many of these accommodations offer stunning views of the lake. You might have an afternoon game drive to catch your first glimpse of Lake Nakuru’s incredible wildlife and scenery. Start your day early with a morning game drive around the park. The park also hosts white rhinos and black rhinos, making it one of the best places to see these endangered species in Kenya.
The drive from Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha is about 1 to 1.5 hours by road (roughly 60 km/37 miles). The journey is relatively short and gives you a chance to unwind after your safari at Lake Nakuru. A safari to Lake Naivasha, after Lake Nakuru, gives you a chance to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Kenya’s freshwater lakes, offering a balance of thrilling wildlife encounters and tranquil landscapes. It’s an ideal place for relaxation and adventure, making it a perfect addition to your Kenyan safari journey! Summary of What to Expect in Naivasha: Lake-based Activities: Boat safaris, birdwatching, and Crescent Island walking safaris. Wildlife and Scenery: Giraffes, hippos, zebras, flamingos, and other wildlife in lush surroundings. Hiking and Exploration: Hike Mount Longonot for panoramic views, or explore nearby Hell’s Gate National Park. Accommodation Variety: Choose from luxury lodges, eco-lodges, or campsites by the lake.
After breakfast, you'll start your drive to Amboseli National Park. The journey from Naivasha to Amboseli takes about 4 to 5 hours by road, covering a distance of around 250 kilometers (155 miles). The route will take you through the scenic Great Rift Valley and across the Loitoktok road. As you get closer to Amboseli, you'll notice the landscape change to open savannah, with views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Once you arrive in Amboseli, you’ll check into your lodge or camp (there are various accommodation options such as Amboseli Sopa Lodge, Tortilis Camp, or Ol Tukai Lodge). Many of the accommodations have stunning views of the park and Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. After lunch and a brief rest, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive. This drive will introduce you to the park’s diverse wildlife. On your second day, you’ll start early to catch the best wildlife sightings. After breakfast and check-out, you’ll begin your return. The drive will take about 3 to 4 hours.

I had one free day to spent in Nairobi. Heritawi safaris and especially Guide Julius were recommended to me by a friend. Wit me Julius, I did a one day excursion to the Nairobi National Park and the elephant orphanage close by. In addition, I was offered at the spot the opportunity to go to the Giraffe Centre. I can very much recommend Heritawi safaris. Everything went as agreed on (logistics, pick-up, payment). The car was very comfortable and I felt secure at all times with the guide who was also the driver. The explanations given were interesting and I learned a lot about different animals and their habitat. When booking the excursion, it was planned to do it without the giraffe centre. However, as Julius got to know my fascination for giraffes, he offered me to also go there. I carry good memories with me. When I go back to Kenya I would like to visit Amboseli National Park; and I will definitely call Julius!

Julius, We don’t how to thank you for this amazing journey ! First, having this trip with you was like spending time with a friend ! We stayed 5 days between Amboseli and Tsavo West and really enjoyed our trip! Julius was very professional, accommodating, patient and very friendly. We did the Safari with Denis as Guide and James behind the wheel. It was just perfect. They pick you up at the airport to take you to the hotel, which is when you arrive most tired and lost because it is your first contact with the country, and the next day they come back to pick you up and start the Safari. Denis is Masai, so he knows the dedillo Masai Mara and James is a super experienced driver, he knows how to get the first line so you can see any animal well without being aggressive in driving, or with the welfare of the animals. We were very happy!

We had such a good safari experience thanks to Julius! We had to arrange our safari very last minute, but with Julius it was fixed within an hour, and we could leave the day after. Julius is so kind and helpful, you instantly feel at home with him and he really goes the extra mile. Denis, our guide for the trip was the best, we had so much fun and had a wonderful experience in Amboseli National Park. Everything was taken care of, Julius checked in regularly during our trip, and even after it finished and we continued our travels. We would definitely recommend and hope to see both Julius and Denis if we return!
