6- Days Aswan , Abu Simbel , Cruise , Luxor & Round Sleeper Train

Khaled, who is an Egyptologist, was our guide. Suffice to say that he was very knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited and able to answer any questions the group had. He was also very friendly and extremely accommodating to the group’s and individual’s needs. In addition, he made the trip even easier by purchasing tickets and coordinating transportation, drivers, and additional guides ahead of time, as well as having the forethought to have enough Egyptian money on hand to exchange for the group members if needed. If possible, I highly recommend asking for Khaled to be your guide.

We had the best tour guide that anybody could ask for his name is Magdy. He was so educated in his line of work. Spoke clear English and made sure you understood everything about the tour. He knew a lot of the locals everywhere that were working at all the venues that we attended. All meals were included during the duration of stay. Cruise was wonderful and staff were very caring and considerate.

The Whole trip was excellent. Well organized, comfortable and informative. Our guide through Aswan and Luxor Mustafa was truly amazing. Not only so knowledgeable but also very helpful and a genuine nice guy. Anyone lucky enough to have this man as their guide would be truly blessed.

The boat was a good overall experience. Clean overall, food was a mix of buffet style Egyptian food and western style food. The cruise allowed for access to all the main temples that we wanted to see. Sun deck had comfy chairs and was a great way to spend the afternoon. I would give the boat an overall 4/5 stars. Tour guide Magdy was overall awesome. He was the best to have on your side to get you to the temples ahead of the other groups, navigate everything your trip needed and was very knowledgeable on Egyptian history. He had great energy and made the overall all experience top notch. He was very efficient navigating the Egyptian time schedules and adjusting where and when it was needed so you didn’t miss anything. I would give Magdy 6 out of 5 stars. BK

We had 2 days in Aswan with our guide Big Mac and we would like to share our experiences about these two days. First day in Aswan we visited the High Dam and got to know interesting things about the circumstances. After these we were in Phliea temple, which was beautiful as well. During back to the Cruise, we stopped by a place, where traditional perfume are made. Here a woman showed us special and useful essences. Second day, early in the Morning we travelled Abu Simble temple, which was really beautiful and magnificent. Big Mac has great knowledge about everything and he also shared with us some interesting facts during our trip. He speaks english really well and loud so we could hear him talking while there were lot of turists around. He was really kind and helpful for us, he always asked us if we understood everything, or we had any questions. We would like to thank him for everything. The rating is for him and for his guidance.

We did a two days visit of Aswan dams, Philae temple and Abu Simbel. The guide was clear and nice, the service in general was good. I had a small “miss understanding” caused by the travel agency that in the end was solved. But it could have been handle better by both the guide and the agency… Transportation between places was done with good driver and comfortable vans :)

Fantastic experience with Magdy. He was extremely attentive and accommodating of our needs and his knowledge and enthusiasm for Egyptology made each site visit so much better.

Khaled El Saady is an excellent tour guide. We got an authentic experience of great Egyptian food and high quality craftsmen at fair prices that Khaled helped negotiate. He was very knowledgeable about ancient Egyptian history and was able to tie together themes through multiple sites. Regularly checked in to see how he could improve our trip and dealt with any requests we had. I highly recommend this trip!
