Palazzo Massimo alle Terme is one of Rome’s most important archaeological museums, showcasing exceptional masterpieces from the Roman world. Housed in a 19th-century palace near Termini Station, the museum features exquisitely preserved frescoes, mosaics, sculptures, and everyday objects that illustrate the evolution of Roman art and society. Highlights include the stunning frescoes from the Villa of Livia, the bronze statue of the Pugile a Riposo (Boxer at Rest), and intricate mosaics that offer a vivid glimpse into ancient Roman life and aesthetics.
The Baths of Diocletian are the largest and most monumental bathing complex ever built in ancient Rome. Constructed between 298 and 306 AD, they could accommodate up to 3,000 people at once and served as a grand social, cultural, and recreational hub for the city. Today, the site forms part of the National Roman Museum and preserves impressive architectural remains, including vast halls, courtyards, and galleries that reveal the scale and sophistication of Roman engineering. Highlights include the Michelangelo-designed basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli, ancient inscriptions, sculptures, and artifacts that offer a remarkable window into daily life during the Roman Empire.
Palazzo Altemps is a Renaissance palace located just steps from Piazza Navona and is part of the National Roman Museum. It houses an extraordinary collection of classical sculptures, many of which belonged to noble Roman families such as the Ludovisi. The palace beautifully combines elegant 16th-century architecture with masterpieces of ancient art, including the famous Ludovisi Throne, the Gaul Killing Himself and His Wife, and finely restored Greek and Roman statues. Its quiet courtyards, frescoed rooms, and refined atmosphere make it one of Rome’s most evocative and less-crowded museum experiences.

Nice package two of the museums were very close to each other. One criticism, not everyone uses “ WhatsApp.“ I’m 57 years old, I text, I email, you can’t assume everyone uses “WhatsApp“ I had used it years ago for a sporting event for my kids, and deleted it, and it was lucky to recover it quickly during another reservation at the pantheon.
Dear Vincent, Thank you for your feedback, and we're pleased to hear you enjoyed the package and appreciated how conveniently located the museums are. We also appreciate your comment regarding WhatsApp. We completely understand that not everyone uses this app. We would like to clarify that WhatsApp is simply an additional service we offer to make communication easier for guests who prefer it. In any case, all tickets and essential information are always sent by email as well, so guests can access everything without needing WhatsApp. Thank you again for sharing your experience. Your feedback helps us continue improving our service, and we hope to welcome you again on your next visit to Rome.

I booked the 3-in-1 National Roman Museum Pass on Viator as a solo traveler, and Golden Ticket made the entire experience incredibly smooth! Booking a multi-site pass can sometimes be confusing, but Golden Ticket provided clear instructions on how to access the tickets. As a solo traveler, having that clear communication took away all the stress of coordinating my itinerary. The museums themselves—Palazzo Massimo, Palazzo Altemps, and the Baths of Diocletian—are absolute hidden gems in Rome. They are beautifully curated, quiet, and completely uncrowded compared to the main tourist hubs. Standing in front of ancient Roman mosaics and frescoes without being rushed was a highlight of my trip. Thank you to Golden Ticket for offering such a great package and making the logistics seamless. Highly recommend booking through them!

Great ticket, allows you into multiple museums, monitors provides a flexible experience. The capitoline museum is an old palace that itself is a historical wonder, full of frescoes and tapestries as well as wonderous roman sculptures. No bags were allowed, but there were free lockers. It does have cooling but some areas were quite warm still. Bring a water bottle The statue of hercules, Colossus of Constanine fragments (and the reproductuon outside) and rhe she-wolf with Romulus and Remus were all worth the experience. The baths of Caracalla provide a sense of awe and grandure of what once was.
