But the excitement doesn't end there! The Jungle Tour Snorkel invites you to plunge into the pristine waters of El Meco, where you can snorkel and witness the vibrant underwater world up close.

Upon arrival at the marina, our Hosts will receive you to direct you to our ticket office and to be able to make your registration. Take the opportunity to take a picture in our beautiful and famous tourist parador "CANCÚN". There our Receptionists will support you by giving you the first explanations of the tour, filling out your membership contract, assisting you in the use of lockers and other important points. At the end, they will go to the waiting area, so that our certified guides will deliver their custom-made snorkeling equipment. At the end of the delivery of the snorkeling equipment, your Guide will explain the operation of the boats, will share the rules of the tour, as well as the communication signals between boats, and set sail for adventure! At the end of the tour, we will return to the marina to be able to deliver the snorkeling equipment, collect your belongings from the lockers, as well as have access to the bathrooms and showers. You will sail in your own boat through the bay, heading towards the Mayan Reef, towards the Nichupté Lagoon and back to the marina. You will follow your Guide in single file. Here you can see the coastal area of the north of our City.
The Mayan Reef is part of the second largest barrier reef in the world. We will get there to be able to snorkel. Your Guide will support you at all times and will be there to assist you. Enjoy the sea beauties!
At the end of the snorkeling, we will return to the boats to go to Laguna Nichupte, where we will take a tour between natural channels and mangroves. Finishing the tour at Laguna Nichupte, it will be time to return to the marina to finish the activity.

The reception lady was courteous and professional. Explained everything well. We had Juanito as our guide and the whole trip was great. He was attentive and always on the lookout for us during the snorkeling making sure everyone was safe. The speed boat drive was fun for our kids, and everyone enjoyed the trip. P.S. Make sure you read the fine print of the extra $25 charge for the National Park fee.

I loved being able to drive the boat while enjoying the different shades of blue of the Mexican Caribbean. The snorkeling halfway through the tour was also a unique and wonderful experience. Do not book. Booked 2 hours prior to excursion and company failed to say that they were not snorkeling or doing any water activities due to weather. It was sunny. No rain. A little windy but nothing worth writing home about. When we check in we are told that it’s just a speed boat tour….nothing more, nothing less and the company refused to give a discount or try to make up for it in any way. I asked for a discount….as the other people in our group received one..but I was told NO and that they cannot predict the weather….even though they knew when I booked it. The boats were very loud and pieced together….the compartments on our boat weren’t secured and kept flying open during our ride. The ride was “nice” but I could have booked that same ride without the snorkeling for cheaper….do NOT book with this company as their actions were scandalous and they had less than par customer service.

Although the weather may appear sunny, strong winds and sea conditions can still make snorkeling unsafe. However, we understand that this information should have been explained to you before check-in so you could decide whether to continue with the speedboat-only alternative. We are also concerned about your comments regarding the boat compartments opening during the ride. Safety and proper maintenance are extremely important to us, and we will review the boat involved with our operations team. Regarding the discount, we apologize for the confusion and for the inconsistent information you received. Your feedback will help us improve how weather-related changes, alternative activities, and compensation options are communicated to all guests.
