After we've picked you up at your accomodation in Rome, we'll safely accomodate you on board of the GolfCar. We start driving trough the nooks and crannies of Rome. Your private guide will give you the all the information about the squares, fountains, temples, churches you spot. The first square you will encounter will be the imposing Piazza Venezia, dominated by the Victorian. One side of the Piazza is the site of Italy's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the "Altare della Patria", part of the Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, the first king of Italy.
After passing through the spectacular street of the Imperial Fora, you'll be facing the millenary imposing scenario of its majesty, the Colosseum. You'll be slowly driving around the arena of the Gladiators. No better way to admire such a solid and immortal piece of architecture. We can also stop on the Colosseum terrace in order to take some photos if you would like.
Driving out the Colosseum Square we will head out of the beaten path towards more archelogical highlights. You'll see the Arch of Costantine, the huge Palatine Hill, the Acqueduct built by Nero and the biggest entertainment bulding ever built, the Circus Maximus.
We notice now in distance the perimeter of the giant Thermal Bath built by the Emperor Caracalla. We stop, it's time to learn something more about the Romans' lifestyle trough your guide's words.
Back on board your tiny turtle car, you'll be now heading south. Immersed in the peace of a green and quiet bubble you'll realize that we're driving on the oldest street ever built, the Via Appia. We will stop for some historical information and some memorable photos.
Let's drive around the immortal wall of Rome until we reach a Pyramid. Yes, a 2 thousand years old pyramid in the middle of the modern Roman traffic. Your guide will be delighting you with its story.
Now, it's finally time for a caffè, gelato, cappuccino, cornetto, wine, or whatever you would like. After a couple of hours of history and archeology highlights, you deserve a break!

Just finished the tour with Marco. It was the evening private tour and it was an enclosed golf cart car so it was lovely and out of the elements. Marco was fabulous he was very knowledgable and entertaining. He took us for coffee and pastries at his favourite bakery. we went all over Rome it was really, really good. We really enjoyed it and would recommend this to anyone especially in his little car thanks again, Marco
Ciao Elaine, Marco is actually our 5 stars guide. His love and passion for is truly unique. This is another confirm of that. Grazie MIlle!
Your was wonderful. Great mix of information and sites. Marco was AMAZING. The Golfcart was comfortable and allowed us to see streets and areas that could not accommodate a car!
Grazie Elizabeth, Marco was born and raised in Rome. He knows nooks and crannies of the Eternal City, indeed!
This tour was great! Marco was very knowledgeable about all the areas on the tour. He has a great personality! We enjoyed it! Best tour of the entire trip!
Ciao Tammy, Marco is 5stars top rated Guide in Rome. The Absolutely best by two wheels indeed.
A wonderful ride with a local friendly driver. Me and my wife are on our honeymoon and i would 10/10 start here as it really helped me get a lay of the city
Grazie Joshua. Marco says you were wonderful! Congratulations again for your wedding and thank you for choosing Roma to celebrate your Love!
This was an amazing way to see a lot in a morning! Because the cart could go where buses could not we saw far more of ‘real Rome’. Andi, our guide was so knowledgeable and told us loads of interesting facts. We were so lucky to have such a knowledgeable and lovely guide. Thank you! The coffee stop was also great. We would not hesitate to recommend this trip and would certainly do it again if available in other cities or if we return to Rome.
Ciao Lynn, Grazie Mille for your words, Andi appreciated and send his best "Grazie Mille"!!
This was the perfect way to see all the sights and learn some interesting information about Rome, without having to walk miles. Our guide was excellent (I'm so sorry I don't recall his name). He took us to some beautiful places we would had never known about. He was knowledgeable, kind and a good driver. Highly recommend.
Grazie Mille Gabby, it's me Valerio, I've guided you around Rome. Thank you again and say ciao to the the other kind Lady. Arrivederci!
What a treat! The best way to see real Italian life-from the back of a horse! We traversed through towns on sidewalks and roads, up and down a few mountains through park trails and saw some memorable sights. Don’t worry about the steep and rocky terrain, these horses are 4 wheel drive, not to mention quiet and happy to be working. Our guides exuded real Italian warmth. I would ride with them again and again. God willing I will return to this blessed part of the world.
With only a day to visit Rome my husband and I were totally impressed with the electric golf cart tour as well as our guide Riccardo! It was easy to book the tour and Valerio, one of the owners, was very helpful with locating a parking garage we could book and pay for in advance. Riccardo met us at the car park and was extremely flexible with what we could see and do while on the tour. This is not a cookie cutter tour - we were able to avoid crowds of tourists and see most of the important sites in Rome during the 3 hour tour. We were treated to a drink and sandwich a couple of hours in! Highly recommend this tour to get the most of a day in the city or to get your bearings in anticipation of a longer visit. Riccardo spoke perfect English, was very personable, and knew his history of Rome. Grazie!
Grazie mille Katy. Riccardo enjoyed driving you around Rome. He said you were really special Guests.
Fantastic guide, great information, took us to places we would never have seen without him, only issue was buggy broke down 15mins before the end, but guide took us for a short walk by the forum while it was sorted out. it’s not always about the problem, it’s how it’s overcome, and we left two very happy tourists.
We're so glad you enjoyed the tour. But actually the Guide himself unfortunately made a mistake (he miscalculated the energy driving all the tour in a max Power engine. He didn't follow the procedure given). So the car didn't break but he, actually, created the issue. This Is the first time one of our guides did such a bad mistake. We're Sorry. He won't be anymore involved in that tour.
Our private golf cart tour with Riccardo was fantastic. He picked us up from the hotel on time and showed us the places we wanted to see in Rome and much more! It was super interesting and we were driven through alleys in districts that we would never have reached otherwise. We had lots of photo stops and a short drink/ice cream break in a local bar. We would book it again anytime, not everyone does this tour, top recommendation!
