Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00am and drive west to Maasai Mara Game Reserve with lunch enroute arriving in time for an evening game drive. Masai Mara game reserve is Kenya's finest wildlife sanctuary. Including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Although July, August, and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be at the Camp with hot showers and flush toilets. Day 2: Masai Mara Full Day The landscape here is scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Dinner and overnight are at the camp. Day 3: Masai Mara - Nairobi Early morning you will have a short game drive in the park. Later the driver will drop you at the camp for breakfast. After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara region for Nairobi with lunch en route. Baboon Budget Safaris provided an excellent safari experience from start to finish. Communication before the trip was clear and quick, and everything was well organized as promised. The guide was experienced, friendly, and very knowledgeable about wildlife, which made the game drives enjoyable and informative. The service was reliable, the itinerary ran smoothly, and the safari offered great value for money. I would confidently recommend Baboon Budget Safaris to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.
Poorly organized safari company. We paid for three seats but only got two on the way back from Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi, forcing my child to sit on my lap for five hours. Compensation was promised but never delivered, and communication stopped completely. Not reliable. One staff member said another passenger had missed their original vehicle and was placed into our car, taking one of our paid seats. • Another person claimed a different safari vehicle had broken down, so passengers were redistributed among other cars — again resulting in us losing a seat. Regardless of the reason, this is not the customer’s responsibility.
Great arrangement and organising team. Got the best guide who patiently showed us the Big Five. The company understood patiently what we were looking for and curated our trip accordingly. We were a group of five and had the time of our lives. The owner and company staff are extremely kind and helpful. Special thanks to our safari guide who made our trip memorable. We had an amazing experience with Baboon budget Safaris. Right from picking us up from Kenya until our journey till Masai Mara and back was well planned and organized. Ariana coordinated everything very well. Dennis made adjustments to our last minute plans. Anthony was the best guide one could ask for. Despite us telling him that we were done with seeing the animals, he was still energetic and enthusiastic even on the second day of our safari. We were lucky to see the big 5 and the whole pack of other animals and birds too. Thank you!
My boyfriend and I went with Baboon Safari on the recommendation of some friends of ours, as they had already done the programme with them and really enjoyed it - our experience was identical: they always arrived on time, kept in constant contact with us via WhatsApp and answered all our questions. We had only booked a 3-day safari, but we regretted not staying longer, because it was completely worth it! This experience was only possible thanks to our fantastic guide, Boni (the younger one): extremely professional, careful, and knowledgeable about the terrain and wildlife, we highly recommend him! For financial reasons, we chose the budget option and it was very peaceful. This option only has two drawbacks: 1 - sometimes we ran out of water and electricity (but Baboon quickly found a solution) and 2 - the food was quite repetitive and limited in choice. Overall, we really enjoyed it and hope to repeat it soon.

Huge ripp off. Much too expensive for what you really get. Bad car, bad driver, worst accomodations imaginable. Stay away from this company, you'll be cheated.
