2 Hours Tulum Snorkel: Sea Turtles, Stingrays & Coral Reef

I had an amazing experience on this Chichén Itzá tour and highly recommend it! Before the tour even started, the customer service was outstanding. The person managing WhatsApp communication responded incredibly quickly and patiently answered all of my questions. I tend to be a very detailed and demanding client who asks a lot of questions before booking, and they were always helpful, professional, and accommodating. A very special shout-out to our guide, who was truly the best guide I have ever had. His knowledge of Mayan culture, history, astronomy, and the Chichén Itzá pyramid was exceptional. He explained everything in a fascinating and easy-to-understand way, making the entire experience much more meaningful. You could really feel his passion for sharing the history and traditions of the Mayan civilization. The itinerary was excellent. In addition to visiting the incredible Chichén Itzá site, we also stopped at a small Mayan village, which gave us a better understanding of local culture and traditions. We had some free time in the beautiful colonial city of Valladolid, which was a lovely bonus. The buffet lunch exceeded my expectations. There were plenty of options, the food was delicious, and you could eat as much as you wanted. During lunch, we were also treated to a traditional dance performance, which added a special cultural touch to the experience. We also visited a cenote, and it was absolutely breathtaking. Swimming there was one of the highlights of the day and an unforgettable experience. Overall, this tour was well organized, educational, fun, and excellent value for money. Sea very rough and murky waters, but then that's nature. When we arrived at the destination ( after 3 taxi drivers communicatong to figure out where it was) it seemed a little off putting as it was just 3 men sat in a beached boat not greeting us etc so quite worried what was happening. Experience at sea very good, no hard sell and knowledgeable.

This was a good experience. We got to swim with turtles and a stingray. The boat crew and operator at the beach were helpful and friendly and stuck to the schedule. The only negative was the boat engines - we were choking on the fumes a little. Overall, well worth the money we paid.

I road a bike from Central Tulum and took the 2pm session . The boat guys were chill, the current was strong. At the first site lots of fish, an enormous lobster the size of a dog, but at the second site was the magic. There were 3 turtles, one medium, 2 smaller and they were not shy. There were a couple of decent sized rays all hanging out with the turtles like old friends. They hung out the whole time, it was a joy. The sargassum was closer to the shore. We still encountered it, but were mostly clear of it near the reef. The visibility was so-so, but obviously we could see what we came for. The boat guys knew were to go for sure.

Booked our snorkel trip with them via Viator. The reviews were great on there and we felt the same way after experiencing it ourselves. Slightly tough spot to find but they provide extremely detailed instructions once you book. Be sure to read and digest it all and make your plan with all of what they share in mind. We were lucky to have gone out with just 2 other people, so it was a very personal experience. They take you by the Tulum ruins and show it to you from the water, and will take pictures of you in front of them. Then they take you to two snorkel spots. The second spot was amazing, lots of fish, a turtle or two, stingrays, and small sharks. Very much worth the money, would highly recommend! Side note: pictures show a lot of seaweed on the beach, it was all over the place but the guides helped us make the best of it. Was much more sparse when we went out into the water than near the shore. There’s always a lot more of it this time of the year.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this tour. The meeting point was hard to find, as it did not correspond to the meeting point that was to be read in the info. Then we drove to the first spot and were able to snorkel with turtles. However, we could not really snorkel, as there were very many different tours and far too many tourists swimming around the turtles. The turtles themselves no longer have any room to swim to the surface, and I think this is not a respectful way to treat animals in the ocean. At the second spot, we were also just sent into the water and were told "we'll see you in 45 minutes". The captain watched TikTok and the "guide" swam away alone and snorkeled somewhere else. No information about anything and no guiding. You can snorkel alone in the sea like that and don't need a tour!

Great snorkeling trip. We have snorkeled in 2 places. The first was equal bingo with sea turtles and rays. Then to spot 2. Was a reef. We saw another shark there. Very laid back people. You don't have to bring snorkels. They got that for you.

Amazing value for money. The tour guides were amazing and they promised turtles and delivered. We had to change dates because my daughter was sick and they were so accommodating. We had THE BEST time! They were so lovely and made us feel safe also. Highly recommended

For the level of service we received the cost was very cheap. People were clean while organized friendly and the trip was fun.
