The Selous is the largest game reserve and one of the favourite game viewing areas in Africa, is amongst the largest protected wet wilderness areas in Africa, SELOUS GAME RESERVE located in the Southern part of Tanzania, large area of the reserve is drained by the Rufiji River. There are over 2,000 species of plants, over 430 species of birds, and 60 species of mammals, plenty of wildlife including Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffalos, Hippos, and Crocodiles. Beautiful Safari!! Giraffes, hippos, elephants, lions, impalas, warthog, and lots of other animals. Not to mention the morning tea and meal in the middle of the national park, facing the hippos, images forever engraved for life Thanks to our 2 guides (Rabi and Ludo), extraordinary, very involved so that we can see as many animals as possible, all in a good mood, in short do not miss this moment if you have the opportunity!!

We did a 2 day Safari at Nyerere Park (Selous) with 2 children aged 7 and 16. What a wonderful experience, from the first morning we had the chance to see all the animals up close. Our French speaking Rabbi guide was very kind and always available for all explanations. He knows the park and the animals perfectly. We saw 4 times the lions very close (guaranteed thrills), 4 times the elephants and of course, the magnificent giraffes, hippos, monkeys, warthogs, zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, Impalas, birds...
