2-Day Maasai Mara Safari

I was a bit hesitant to book with Samson Safaris at first due to some mixed reviews online, but they truly exceeded my expectations. There was a minor issue with the accommodation, but they handled it quickly and even upgraded me to a luxury camp at no extra cost. I had an amazing time in the Maasai Mara and Nairobi—everything was well organized and memorable. I'm really glad I chose them!

Samson Safaris asked me to cancel my online booking and send money directly to them “to save on fees.” It felt shady, but I trusted them. Big mistake. After paying, communication dropped, and I got downgraded to a camp far below what I was promised. It’s hard not to call that fraud

EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME!!! I waited so long to do a safari in Kenya and I definitely chose the right company! The coordination by Stacey and Kimani was perfect DVD the guides Stanley and Gilbert were absolutely outstanding! I felt safe as a solo woman traveler and was treated like a VIP. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, respectful and accommodating. I saw so many animals and breathtaking scenery. I am already planning to come back with family members. Again, Samson’s safari is top notch on all fronts!

Wow, what an adventure! My friends and I had the time of our lives exploring Maasai Mara with Samson's Safaris. From the get-go, the guides were awesome – super knowledgeable and friendly. They showed us all the cool spots and made sure we didn't miss a thing. And let me tell you, the wildlife sightings were insane! Lions, elephants, giraffes – you name it, we saw it. Plus, the landscapes were straight out of a postcard. We even got to hang out with the Maasai people and learn about their way of life, which was really special. But what really blew us away was the attention to detail from Samson's Safaris. From sunrise breakfasts to sunset drinks, every moment felt magical. And the best part? Knowing that we were supporting conservation efforts while having the time of our lives. If you're thinking of going on safari, do yourself a favor and go with Samson's Safaris. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Best safari company we had so much fun and Julius the tour guide was the highlight of the trip he made sure we got the closest photos of the animals and made our journey memorable

Our group of five (4 from tbe US and 1 from Spain) went on the 2-day safari as well as the Amboseli 1-day tour. Where do we begin?! This was the best tour we could've possibly asked for. Kimani was our guide and he took excellent care of us the entire time. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our (probably thousands of) questions, knew every animal and all kinds of facts about each, and knew the best places to find them. We even saw a rhino! There was water in the car which was always nice, and all of our accommodations were top-notch. We stayed just outside of Masai Mara in a nice resort where the food was excellent. For the entirety of the trip, everyone felt safe whether it was in the vehicle, at our accommodations, or any place we stopped along the way. We also used Wildngo.com to book the trip and they made it very smooth for us. We really cannot recommend Kimani and Samson's Safaris enough! We all want to come back and bring our own families and replicate the exact same trip. :) HUGE thanks again to this amazing company!

Booking and communication with the operator very smooth. Transportation, meals and accommodation as announced (yet, the hotel we stayed at in the Park was absolutely fabulous and this night is unforgettable). Both guide and driver were friendly, knowledgable and making sure we were having a great time. Coming from South Africa, we were pleasantly surprised by the number and the quality of the sighting we were able to have in the Mara. N.B.: make sure to bring some cash as ATM/card payments are very rare!

Mr. Kimanye from Samson Safaris was very good. Arranged for a Safari at very short notice. Also he was a very good guide. He went out of the way to make me comfortable. Our road journey was also very enjoyable as we exchanged cultures of both Kenya and India. He also gave a lot of details about Kenya. The place where we stayed was the highlight of the trip. I was put up in a tent room by the side of the river and all through the night it was very good to hear the crocodiles catching preys etc.
