We were sold the trip as ‘beach buggies and watch the sunset ‘. Firstly they were quad bikes (old and poor suspension and hot on legs) and we didnt get to see the sunset as this was then extra with a dinner and dancing which we didnt want to do.. the guide sat on the side of my quad bike and kept telling me to slow down, even when i wasnt going fast. The pyramid views and desert were nice but I expected to be tearing around the dunes in a buggy and none of this happened. Mediocre speed at best. It wasnt bad but wasn’t what i wanted or expected. The tour operator Ahmed Yassin was ok, he picked us up and dropped us off then brought us a drink on the way back. Thrill seekers avoid this in my opinion.
