Description
Leaving early in the morning, a 4x4 jeep ride through the awakening city brings you to the desert where you start with a drive through the beautiful sand dunes. Stop for several photo-opportunities and refreshments. Try your hand at sand boarding on the powder soft dunes then take a few pictures at a camel farm. Continue the drive to our Desert campsite where you experience a camel ride and drink Arabic coffee ‘Gahwa’.

If you fancy a morning desert expedition to enjoy the serenity of the Arabian sands, this tour is for you. Escaping the city head north to the desert, boasting spectacular landscapes of pristine, rolling sand dunes. Reaching the desert, you stop to deflate tires then enjoy an exhilarating rollercoaster ride over the undulating dunes and into the wilderness, making several stops for photos. Continue your fun drive to reach an Arabian Desert Campsite where you will experience a traditional welcome with ‘Gahwa’ Arabic coffee and local dates. Stretch your legs then enjoy a brief camel ride, sand boarding and ‘Shisha’, the Arabic water-pipe. Afterwards a pleasant drive brings you back to the city. Truly a great way to invigorate your senses.

- Pickup will be in a 4x4 Land Cruiser on sharing basis with up to 5 people per land Cruiser from different hotels. Private vehilce - if private option selected
- Children aged 4.99 years and under are not allowed to join the Tour.
- Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
- Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.
- The Dubai desert can get cooler in the evenings during winter, so we recommend you bring a light jacket and closed shoes. Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.
- Guests visiting the UAE during the Summer months (June – September) are advised that peak daytime temperatures sometimes reach 42 – 45 degrees Celsius. Humidity levels can also exceed 90 percent during this period. We recommend all our guests to take adequate precaution.
- The duration of the actual tour takes 4 – 4.5 hour but the driving time from Dubai hotel and return may take another 60 – 90 minutes depending on traffic conditions and time of day.
- If the Private Vehicle option is selected, only the vehicle is private all other Desert activities guest have to share with other guest at the camp site.

The tour was a lot of fun for us. Our guide Nitin was a very experienced driver through the desert and the view to sunrise was very nice. The breakfast we liked too. Can we highly recommend.

The guide Mustafa was excellent, he expertly captured photographs at every significant location we visited, making sure to highlight the beauty and unique features of each landmark. As we explored, he shared fascinating stories and rich historical insights about the sites. The ride was comfortable and we enjoyed dune bashing, sand boarding. Overall it was an excellent trip.

The experience was amazing! The communication was easy and effective all time, I had a few questions as I was travelling with an infant, a young kid and a senior. They picked us up at our hotel 8am ontime! Very patience to take all the pictures, super nice guide! He was a great photographer too! They have water and soda included for the guests. He also helped to negotiate prices at the shop we stoped for a bio break. If you want to take the picture with the Falcon be sure you negotiate the price before, they say US$5 at first but then when all is done he said “no, it was per person!”. Luckly our guide noticed that and helped us to pay a reasonable price. The only “but” is that we could not do the sandboarding because was hot and the sand was not sliding. A little disappointed becase if they know that they should not sell it for the morning ride. Overall we really enjoyed it! Highly recommended!

We had booked a desert safari with wild animals at sunrise and were picked up right on time from our hotel. After an hour's drive we took a break at a mosque and then went straight into the desert. We had the chance to see lots of animals and the driver did everything he could to ensure that we saw some. We were then able to sandboard on a large dune and were served Arabic coffee at sunrise. After that there was dune bashing, which was a great and spectacular experience. At the end we stopped at the Al Qudra Lakes, where we were given breakfast. It was very filling and more than we expected. There we were able to see flamingos and pampas hares. Many thanks to Mr Nasir for the great experience! Recommendable!

Our driver/ guide was fantastic! He gave us lots of information about everything on the way to and from the dessert. He was friendly and encouraging with all of the activities, we had a great time and would highly recommend this tour!
