Zoo Miami Ticket with Optional Upgrade

Description
Zoo Miami is the largest zoo in Florida and the fifth largest in the United States. Our lush, tropical, open-air exhibits replicate our animals' natural habitats and allow guests to enjoy beautiful and endangered wildlife at a safe, yet close range. As the only sub-tropical zoo in the continental U.S., the unique climate in South Florida allows us to care for a wide variety of animals from Asia, Australia, Africa, and the Americas. Zoo Miami today occupies almost 750 acres, 4 miles of walkways, and is home to more than 2,000 animals representing over 375 different species. Of this population, more than 130 species are at risk in the wild: many classified as endangered or critically endangered. Zoo Miami is proud to be an active leader in many global wildlife and environmental conservation initiatives. We are accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums which means we have passed a rigorous inspection process and meet or exceed the AZA's standards for animal health and welfare.

The zoo was set up well. We had a good time observing the animals and foliage. Recommend when you visit Miami.
This is a beautiful zoo- clean, well maintained and easy to find your way around. We rented a pedal bike since our time was limited that day and got to see everything we wanted. Our favorite exhibit was feeding the lorikeets. Friendly staff, lots to see and read, paved access everywhere. We loved it so much that we purchased a membership even though we'll only be in the area for 4 months!
Very spacious Park although that much transportation needs and the one traim they have the times are way too off Animals seem to just hide away with the heat and prices for food are way overpriced unfortunately this didn't feel like a real zoo
We paid $7 extra to take the narrated trolley ride that passes behind the scenes, explanation was great but he got mad because some passengers (2 small kids and adults who needed translation, interrupted him) The zoo has many exhibits, some relocations etc in overall a lot of walking to see everything, there is an option to rent the ride on cycle either pedal or electric but seemed expensive to us. Make sure to spend at least 3-4 hours to take it all in.
The Zoo Miami didn't disappoint for the plethora of fana and animal species from various ecosystems was incredible to see. We were especially impressed with the Amazon Rainforest and the live show presentation. We definitely look forward to coming back with our entire family.
The Zoo is currently undergoing major renovations, and unfortunately there was very little to see during our visit. Many exhibits contained swampy water, and several animals were taken inside around 1:30 p.m. while staff cleaned the areas. This was extremely disappointing, as guests paid full admission but were unable to view many of the animals. It seems these cleaning activities could have been completed before visitors arrived for the day. The bicycle rental process was also frustrating. It took approximately 10–15 minutes just to connect to the internet and complete the rental process. The Wi-Fi service was very poor, leaving numerous guests standing around waiting 5–10 minutes simply to get enough connectivity to proceed. If patrons are required to use Wi-Fi to rent bicycles, the Zoo should invest in a more reliable network. Once we finally reached the rental window to receive the key, only one service window was open while two employees stood nearby talking. After waiting several more minutes, a second window was eventually opened. Thankfully the line was not long, but the process appeared disorganized and would have been much more frustrating during a busy time. Overall, our experience was disappointing. Between the renovations, limited animal viewing opportunities, poor Wi-Fi, and inefficient bicycle rental process, the visit did not meet expectations. The Zoo should consider improving communication about renovations, scheduling exhibit maintenance before operating hours, upgrading Wi-Fi capabilities, and streamlining the bicycle rental process to provide a better guest experience.
BEAUTIFUL!! Wide open spaces and beautiful landscapes provide a great setting for Zoo Miami animals and visitors alike. The viewing areas offer opportunities to see animals in a natural environment; and interactive maps on the Zoo Miami App provide directions to each area. Also, because we have a zoo membership in our hometown, we received discounts on our Zoo Miami tickets! We recommend arriving at 10 AM while temperatures are lower and animals are more active than they might be in the afternoon. A lovely experience—you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve visited zoos in many cities all over the world, this one is one of the nicer ones. I feel its been built with a much bigger crowd expectations, the day I visited (granted it was Wednesday) I only met a handful of other visitors and it felt like Im almost alone. A lot of the space is underutilized so it feels like a lot of walking (however you have the option to rent a paddle vehicle to move around). The animals look well cared for, with nice habitats, but most of the habitats only hold 1-2 animals of the species. Very nicely done Amazon forest exhibit and the Everglades mission. Being in Florida, they should have way more gators in that exhibit. There is plenty of restrooms and refreshment facilities. You will not find a beverage in a plastic bottle there so if you prefer to drink from those you will have to bring one with you.

Nice and clean. A variety of animals. The bikes were so much fun to ride around the park. Check the website before you go to see what is closed.
The zoo is huge lots of land to cover, i recommend take a family bike/tricicle or a tour cart. But a lot of the attraction were not ready a lot of animal habitat were empty with a sign coming soon and the souvenirs prices are too high, very expensive for any low income family. Our trip was less exited than what we anticipated very dissapointed were the kids.
