Travel tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to visit The Great Pyramids of Giza, start by visiting the pyramid of Cheops which is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the ancient world, the size of the largest pyramid of Cheops is 137 meters high & measures 230 meters along each side, it was built as a tomb, the shape possibly intended to help the spirit of the dead pharaoh to rise to heaven (that was the reason of the pyramid shape), then move to visit pyramid of Chephren, it's the best preserved of the three main Giza Pyramids the top part still retains the original facing of smoothly finished stone giving an idea of how the pyramids would originally have appeared, beside pyramid of Chephren will see the Great Sphinx, carved out of natural rocky outcrop, then you will see the pyramid of Mykerinus the smallest one of the three pyramids, this pyramid is partly dressed with pink granite slabs and then visit the Valley temple.
continue to have your lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant, then move to visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, located in north of Tahrir square, it's the richest museum of Egyptian antiquities in the whole world, it contains pharaonic treasures over 5,000 years ago & it is open daily, the building is rectangular with a large rotunda on the ground floor containing massive exhibits including colossal statues of Ramses II, the best views of them can be obtained looking down from the upper galleries, the gold and alabaster trappings from the tomb of Tutankhamun draw the crowds, many of the Tutankhamun tomb treasures have boon on display in museums round the world even the golden mask, yet one exhibit has always remained in Cairo, there is no visit to Egypt is complete without a trip to go through this magnificent collection of rare jewelry & treasures of Tutankhamun, you can visit The Royal mummies room (additional cost) finish your tour and transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.

Excellent 9 day trip arranged by our travel agent for Aswan, Nile cruise, Luxor, Kom Ombo, Valley of the Kings and Cairo. The local transfers were handled by "Egypt Promotion" and all of their local staff took Excellent care of us all the way from airport gates to hotels to attractions. Everything happened on-time. The staff spoke reasonably good English and were super helpful. Samara at Cairo was punctual, courteous and helpful. They stay in close communication with you via WhatsApp and respond promptly to any questions you post. Everywhere in Egypt people were polite. We never felt insecure at any time in any way. I would recommend Egypt highly.
I highly recommend this trip, it was a great experience. Being a solo female traveller I was worried about safety however my guide Abdulrahman Mohamed and the driver Mohamed Ragab were very professional and they went out of their way to make me feel safe and welcome. Abdul is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. He explained everything in detail and had easy to remember and playful references for the names of the sites, Kings, Queens and artefacts. The car was clean, air conditioned and always on time. Abdul and Mohamed went out of their way in making the trip a memorable one, making sure that I got the best deals at the market and the shops. The highlight of the trip was a detour to downtown Cairo for a bowl of khoshary and rice pudding.👌🏾😍
We had a few tours with our guide Abdulrahman Horus Mohamed. We visited - over the course of a few days - various places such as the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum. Alexandria and the Khan Khalili market. These were all tours managed by the same company. Our guide Horus was very good and he really knows his history. He guided as very well through all the sites with detailed explanations. He also tried to make as comfortable as possible and the tours generally went very smoothly and efficiently. Kudos the to Horus and the drivers who took us to all these exciting places. However, one downside was when meals were not included in such tours. Here, the guide took us to places that pre-arranged meals were waiting for us. For example, in Alexandria we went to a seafood restaurant with a set menu - thus we had no choice or say in what we could eat. The meals were greatly overpriced and the quality of seafood was average. In fact, we were still hungry afterwards. Something similar happened when we went to Khan Khalili where we mentioned we would like to try some shwarmas. The guide had shwarmas arranged for us at a specific restaurant - again, we could not choose what we wanted ad also first have a look at prices! Thus when we arrived at the restaurant, the shwarmas were ready but at 3x the normal price! We again grossly overpaid. I am not sure what is at play in these cases but please beware of this! Thus, our advice would be to skip recommended meals or restaurants by the guide; firmly insist that the guide take you to a restaurant of YOUR choice where YOU can select your own meals and not be grossly overcharged for average meals.
We had an amazing day with our guide, Abdulrahman Mohammed. He showed us the pyramids and the GEM museum, and shared so much interesting history in a way that was easy to follow and really fun, he made sure we dont get overwhelmed as the museum is huge but made sure that we covered the most interesting and important bits. His knowledge of Egyptian history is incredible and second to none, and he added humour throughout, which made the tour even more enjoyable. He was also very professional and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We had a great experience from start to finish and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting.
The tour company’s representatives were fantastic and made the arrival into Cairo through immigration snd onto our hotel a breeze. Whilst staying in Cairo we visited a lot of the attractions including the pyramids and the museum and our guide Karam was incredibly informative and had a great sense of humour. Thank you for making this part of the tour so good.
