Wine Tasting Tour from Taormina
Description
An unique expericence only for wine lovers ! Enjoy a relaxing afternoon tour to taste regional Sicilian wine and appreciate the gorgeous scenery of typical sicilian village of Piedimonte Etneo and Linguaglossa, reaching a height of 800 meters above sea level. Would you like to learn more about the sicilian wine production? Visit to a renowned winery, family owned where you will learn all about the production process of the regional wine produced by the winery on Etna's slope. You will taste four different wines and a small aperitif consisting of preserved vegetables, a selection of Sicilian cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, bread, and local olive oil. Return to Taormina area in the late afternoon. This tour will be conducted in English, French, and Italian only.

Our guide Isabella & driver Sebastian were excellent. How he negotiated narrow roads with hairpin bends was amazing! Isabella was so informative, not only about wine but Sicily & other things Italian too! The winery we went to was extraordinary & all the staff were so helpful. A great day - with a great bunch of people ! Thank you.
Isabella was great. Very informative about Etna, the region and the vineyard. The Gambino family were extremely welcoming. The snack food and the pairing with the wine was perfect. They were also generous with the wine and topping up glasses. A great day out!
Our guide Isabella was amazing. Very informative and funny too! Wine was great as well was the food. Cheeses, olives, tomatoes, bread, oils and salts, aubergine and more. Peppe the man that works for Gambino was also great. Recommend to everyone. Bus ride up the hill is a bit scary but that’s Sicily for you :)

We went to mt Etna to the Gambino winery. It was great our tour guide Isabella Catalano kept us informed about the area for the whole ride. She is tops in my book. The tour was exceptional and the food paired with the wine pretty dang good. Very entertaining and informative. I would highly recommend this tour great value for the $$.

Fine wines can be tasted where tasty snacks were served at a beautiful set table with beautiful views. Good explanation and well cared for.

Fantastic afternoon with our tour guide Isabella. Lots of useful information given on the way to the winery, and a fab karaoke session on the way home! Lively winery, reasonable prices to purchase. Great afternoon out. Sebastian our driver was good too!

Lovely way to spend an afternoon in beautiful surroundings. The guide Simona was excellent and everything ran on time. We sampled 5 different wines and the small lunch supplied was great with various cheeses, bread and olive oil.
