This is really a 5 star tasting. Our guide Luis learned us a lot about the organic Douro wine making proces. Small group of 8 people. We tasted 3 wines, 1 port, olive oil and a lot of bread. The only thing that could be better is when you arrive by car it is not clear where to park....you can easily park outside the gate on the street.
Very nice wine tasting! Only a few years left, but José and his team are very welcoming! We had the “simple” tour with tasty young wines and good postage. And the olive oil is also great! There was a more extensive version with food, which really looked very good.
My husband and I went to Quinta dos Novais to taste some wines. We were very well served by José, who introduced us to the farmhouse and we explained about the wines. Wonderful experience. We recommend.

A great tour and an opportunity to learn the process of growing organic wines. The lunch was way beyond expectations and the wine pairings were wonderful. Jose’ was very knowledgeable and was friendly and very engaging. I’m looking forward to the wine i purchased getting delivered back home!
A wonderful experience at Quinta dos Novais Organic Vineyard! Warm hospitality, beautiful vineyards, and a delicious tasting of Douro wines, Port wine, olive oil, and local snacks. Very informative, authentic, and personal — not touristy at all. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Douro Valley! 🍷✨
Place with spectacular views, as well as food, wines and guides! José did an excellent job in accompanying our table. It is a recent project with a lot of potential!
