The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. Many of the works of art are still in the historic settings for which they were first collected or commissioned by the kings and queens who have lived at Windsor.
Step back 5,000 years in time to prehistoric Britain as our guide helps bring the history of this fascinating monument to life. Who built Stonehenge? Why was it built? Discover the answer to these questions and the monument’s fascinating link to the Summer and Winter solstice. Come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and visit the world-class exhibition centre, with 250 ancient objects on display.

The Bodleian Library is the main research library of the University of Oxford, and is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. With over 12 million items, it is the second-largest library in Britain after the British Library.
Christ Church is a constituent college of the University of Oxford in England. Christ Church is a joint foundation of the college and the Cathedral of the Oxford diocese, which serves as the college chapel and whose dean is ex officio the college head.

- As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice (The whole castle is closed on December 25-26).
- Please note: Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
- If your party has made separate bookings for the same tour, please contact us no later than 48 hours prior to the departure date if you wish to travel on the same coach

Our tour to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford Our tour to Windsor Castle, Oxford, and Stonehenge was one of the highlights of our trip. The itinerary was well organized, giving us enough time to explore each destination without feeling rushed. And our Tourguide Pablo and bus driver were fantastic. Windsor Castle was absolutely stunning, with its rich history and beautiful architecture. Oxford was charming, and walking through its historic university streets was a wonderful experience. Stonehenge was truly awe-inspiring—seeing this iconic landmark in person was unforgettable. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating stories throughout the journey, making the experience even more enjoyable. The transportation was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting England. Angela was incredible. She was able to relay a massive amount of history and information. I will never remember a 1/3 of what she provided, but it was enthralling the whole time she was providing information on every site we visited.

My family and I had a wonderful day exploring Oxford, Stonehenge, and Windsor with our guide, Sasha! She was incredibly knowledgeable, was enthusiastic and joyous about the information that she shared, and so helpful along the way answering questions and guiding us through the various sights. It was the perfect amount of time at each stop and there were plenty of opportunities to grab a drink/food and use the facilities. Harry Potter fans should definitely check out the Balliol College at Oxford too see inspirations for the great hall and various aspects of the Hogwarts Castle. The only drawback of the trip was that Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays. We didn’t know this when we booked. Sasha was excellent at offering alternative ideas! Our bus driver Levian made us feel very safe and the ride was seamless!
