Itinerary
The town of Windsor is best known for its historical links to the British royal family, and it is suitably steeped in pageantry and history. Towering over the rest of the town is Windsor Castle, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is today one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Occupying over 10.5 hectares, the Castle offers a varied day out for visitors, including a visit to the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel. The Castle's State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, reflecting the changing tastes of the Castle's royal occupants, particularly those of Charles II and George IV. If you decide not to include admission to Windsor Castle, you will have free time in Windsor town.
St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in England, is a chapel designed in the high-medieval Gothic style. It is both a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter. Seating approximately 800, it is located in the Lower Ward of the castle. (If option selected.)
Step back 5,000 years in time to prehistoric Britain as our guide helps bring the history of this fascinating monument to life. Who built Stonehenge? Why was it built? Discover the answer to these questions and the monument’s fascinating link to the Summer and Winter solstice. Come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and visit the world-class exhibition centre, with 250 ancient objects on display. (If option selected.)
The Sheldonian Theatre, located in Oxford, England, was built from 1664 to 1669 after a design by Christopher Wren for the University of Oxford. The building is named after Gilbert Sheldon, chancellor of the University at the time and the project's main financial backer.
The Bodleian Library is the main research library of the University of Oxford, and is one of the oldest libraries in Europe. With over 12 million items, it is the second-largest library in Britain after the British Library.

It is rushed. Our tour was done in English and spanish. Stonehenge is overrated. Windsor and the surrounding town was nice.
Trip was overbooked -the bus was packed not one free seat had to sit away from family. Hot and not very clean. This would all be fine if this excursion did not have 6 hours of bus travel in one day. Would not recommend.
The guide Angela was very knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend this tour to my family and friends.
Nice coach, experienced guide and good driver. Every point has just right enough time so it’s a bit tight but that’s pretty much what can be done in one day for 3 distant places. All the historical points were gorgeous.
Our guide was Angela and the driver Christian - what a delightful pair! Angela is very knowledgeable and kept us captivated all the time. Christian is gentle and good humoured. Definitely one of the best guided tours we had! Our day trip with 2 kids was really enjoyable.
This was a fantastic whirlwind of the country! It is an amazingly efficient way to see three major locations in just one day. Because the tour leaves and returns to London, it’s a great way to add these locations to your trip without having to book other accommodations of transportation. Our guide Angela and the driver Christian were very personable and made the experience great. I only wish we had had more time at all the locations, but now I know what to come back and see in future!
We had a very nice trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Oxford! Angela (tour guide) was very nice as well as clear about what would happen, which we appreciated. Christian (bus driver) was very friendly too. I wish we had more time at each stop, however, but such is the case when you are trying to get to 3 places outside of London. Overall, great time!
Had a great time. Our guide, Pablo, was excellent - full of great info about the sites and many helpful hints. Very personable.
First up, Pablo gave it all that he had to give us great experience. He set the course for a great Windsor visit, explained us about Oxford and Stonehenge by giving us great tidbits of history. His story telling and tour management is amazing. We can do with more information on the pickup location. It became a bit of a struggle in the morning. The ticket needs to mention the Tour Operator and gate number at Victoria Coach more clearly. We could also do with a little more time at each stop - about 15-20 mins - especially at Windsor.
Excelente tour with Pablo and Lucian. Be prepared to walk about 10 km to see a lot of things in the 3 places.
