The 8 mile whitewater stretch through the Snake River Canyon takes you through mix of calm sections where you'll be able to take in the scenery and wildlife, and exciting rapids. On this smaller 8 man raft your paddling skills will be put to the test as your guide leads you into the big waves of Kahuna and Lunch Counter, so be prepared to paddle hard and have a blast getting soaked! Guests 16 and over will be charged a $3 Bridger Teton National Forest User fee at check in.

We are pretty confident that this 8-mile stretch of whitewater has the highest concentration of laughter in the state of Wyoming. With class II and III rapids such as The Lunch counter and The Big Kahuna, and even an underwater waterfall aptly named Champagne, this river will thrill and delight you. And with inspiring limestone cliffs, hills of Lodge pole Pine, and the mountain peak horizon of the Grey’s National Forest, the scenery will surely impress you. This is the moment in your vacation that you’ll write home to grandma about—that is, if she’s not already in the boat with you!

- During the call our office staff will review check in procedures of the day to help limit the time spent inside our office. This may include signing e-waivers for everyone and paying for any wetsuit rentals in advance.
- You will be getting soaked on this trip. So wear items of clothes that are not made of cotton, synthetic clothes are best!

Incredible experience. Amazing guide :) We spent the day in the river, and it was a lot of fun. Even go to have a little swim.
Having done many raft trips and used multiple outfitters, this one gets a two thumbs up for the quality and the cleanliness of their equipment. wet suits and life vests were dry, not old and no smell at all !! the front desk staff was happy and cheerful and answered all the questions. The guides were wonderful with their information and treated children with care and fun.
Fantastic fun, eegan our guide was knowledgeable and made this trip absolutely memorable for our family. Rapids were a perfect challenge for us
We had such a fun time whitewater rafting with Dave Hansen Whitewater! Eagen was an awesome guide: friendly, energetic, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable the whole way. He also pointed out birds, wildlife, and interesting things along the river, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The rapids were a blast, the scenery was beautiful, and there were plenty of laughs along the way. It was one of the highlights of our trip, and we’d absolutely recommend Dave Hansen Whitewater and Eagen!

Nice whitewater trip. Was in the water about 1:15. We stayed at the Snake River Cabins so was nice to have the bus pick us up at that location. Highly recommend staying there (see other review). T-Bone was our guide and did a great job. Very enjoyable trip and would do It again when back to the area.
From onboarding to transfer to put in site to the guide experience and knowledge, this trip was a must do while in the Jackson area. Me and my boys loved it.
Rafted down the river with Julian as our guide. He did a great job keeping us safe and informed. He patiently answered all of our son’s questions. We had a great time and would highly recommend this company! We also stayed at the Alpine Valley RV resort, where the integration was flawless. We were driven a short way to meet up with the rest of the group that was bussed in from Jackson and picked up afterward. Smooth process and enjoyable day in all ways.
Honestly one of the best experiences we’ve ever done! We booked on a whim and the entire trip was an absolute blast from start to finish. Our guide, Eagan, was awesome—super knowledgeable, fun, and made sure we felt safe. If you're on the fence about booking this, just do it. You won't regret it!
