Best national park experience ever!

We did a full day tour with David and it was incredible! We learned so much, David was basically an encyclopedia of information and answered EVERY question we had. It was truly incredible. We got to see all of the most famous sites, and David was so accommodating with dropping us off to ensure we had the best experience despite the crowds. We would’ve struggled so much on our own, and would not have been able to see all the sights if it was just me and my husband traveling. And hearing the history of the park and information on wildlife and plants is unbeatable. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect day.

Easy way to see the most sights in a single day

Several days prior we got a phone call to take our order for lunch. Hotel pick up was perfect. Meeting other travelers was fun. Joe was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide. He was very excited to share his new scope with everyone when we spotted wildlife. He was very attentive to the timing of Old Faithful eruption and planned our day to maximize getting the most stops. We saw deer, bison and even a bear! He was great about being our photographer and took great shots of us at Old Faithful, Yellowstone Falls and even the entry sign. It was a relaxing, fun filled way to hit all the sights in a day without getting up at 4:30am and without having to worry about parking or finding food and snacks! If you are looking for an easy, fun adventure- book it!

It is way easier with a driver

You cannot do this on your own! Our guide, David, is a great driver and knows the various shortcuts around the park, where to park, will drop you off and go and park, etc. We say more with him than we could have on our own. Excellent driver. Personable. Money well spent. I was able to take pictures and look for animals instead of concentrating on driving.

Highly recommended

Highly recommended, you visit the park's most important landmarks in one day (and may see some animals too!!!). Also, our guide Shane did a great job of providing information and entertainment during the trip.

Yellowstone Rocks!

It was a perfect experience for a solo traveler. I was able to sit back and enjoy the amazing beauty of Yellowstone without having to worry about navigating to each location. Joe B was a wonderful guide, informative, patient and gracious. Even though the weather prohibited us from viewing the prismatic pool, Joe provided another opportunity later in the day so we wouldn’t miss seeing a similar feature at another location in the park when the weather cooperated. He was good at adapting to accommodate the weather

Yellowstone Lower Loop Full Day Tour- Guided by John Putrino with Teton Scenic Floats and Fly Fishing

This was our first time to Jackson, Jackson Hole, the Tetons and Yellowstone. We decided that we wanted to do a guided tour of Yellowstone for the full day lower loop.  We performed our research of the multiple tour companies but kept coming back to Teton Floats, which is based in Jackson. We were staying in Jackson, so it was perfect for us, and they picked us up right from our hotel. No driving for us! Jackson Floats a few days prior secured our lunch order and they also provide gluten free options for the picnic lunch which is great because my wife is strictly gluten free.  We chose Thursday 6-25-26 for our tour. We were happily greeted by our tour guide, John Putrino who arrived at our hotel early. Little did we know as this time that John Putrino would make our guided tour the best experience we have ever had. We as a family are still riding on a high from this tour and we just flew home yesterday. John’s passion for Yellowstone and the Tetons along with his enthusiasm to research and provide us even the smallest of details was impactful.  We started our journey out from the hotel entered Jackson Hole then the Tetons and into the south Yellowstone entrance. Well, let’s stop for a second and go back to the Tetons, John recognized some friends stopped alongside the road indicating there was presence for a chance of an animal sighting. We did stop momentarily but did not immediately locate anything and John out of respect for our schedule decided we needed to keep moving but just speak up if we see anything as we get moving. Magically just as we pulled out to proceed onward to Yellowstone the first magic of this tour commenced. We saw a glimpse of a bear. John Putrino maneuvered us into the perfect spot with a grizzly bear and her 2 cubs just in the distance. John gave us the most insightful bear knowledge including the exact grizzly bear 610 and her cubs. Unbeknownst to us John captured a few photos and videos for us in this fleeting moment to share with us at the end of the tour for us to have for a lifetime! This early high of this tour continued as we progressed to the south Yellowstone entrance. The awe and beauty of Yellowstone is simply breathtaking. John Putrino made all the difference separating this tour from any others. John’s knowledge base and research on the entire area is the pixie dust you simply won’t get this from any other tour guide.  He seamlessly navigated us through Yellowstone and to all the points on the tour in a safe and precise manner. Each location John had extra insight and obscure details to provide. John brought an infrared thermometer to indicate the temperature of the various geothermal areas we visited. John displayed ultimate respect for Yellowstone National Park and all the animals we encountered. John led us by example on how we should respectfully navigate through the park and any interactions with the animals we would encounter.  All the amenities were provided to us: scope for viewing animals in the distance, binoculars, cold drinks, delicious lunch provided by the river with picnic table cover, new spacious van. One would not want for anything on this tour as everything you would ever need is provided. We finished the lower loop and headed back to Jackson with the same enthusiasm we started off from the hotel that morning. John Putrino simply made all the difference and for that I am forever grateful for this trip. My family and I are still riding a high from this tour. We are unable to remove the smiles from our faces. John Putrino words are unable to describe my gratitude to you! I do want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this experience so extraordinary for Monet, Kate, Caroline and Craig!   Thank you, Craig-

A Must to Get the Most of Your Time in Yellowstone

We booked the Yellowstone Lower Loop Tour for our first time visiting Yellowstone National Park and this was definitely the way to go. Our guide, David, was extremely knowledgable about the park and the natural environment. He also knew where to go to avoid traffic or parking issues throughout the day, which allowed us to see much more of the park than we would have been able to see on our own. We were able to just enjoy the day without worrying about logistics including having lunch, snacks and drinks included with our tour. Not only did we hit all the popular features at Yellowstone including geysers, hot springs, and waterfalls, but we also were able to see a lot of wildlife - including an unplanned stop or two, which created some of the most incredible moments. This tour (with David as your guide) is highly recommended if you want to see as much as possible and learn a lot about our national parks along the way!
