The guide was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and was very knowledgeable about the river and kept us safe and entertained throughout the rafting experience.
I woke up sick, so my husband went alone. He raved about it! Said the drive was beautiful, the visit to the family house enjoyable, and that guides were skilled and friendly.
Hello Heather, thanks for spending time writing a review, your opinion is very important to us
They picked us up in Pereque, divisa of Angra with Parati. We followed by jeep to a support house where we assembled equipment and received intruders. As the weather was cold, they provided us with neoprene clothing, which made all the difference! It was about 1:30h of adventure, with right to filming and photos. After the tour there was coffee, hot broa, juice, banana and cooked mandioca waiting for us. The equipment was good, all done with safety, joy and a lot of attention. We all loved the walk!
Super recommended this ride in Paraty. Felipe was an excellent guide, very professional. We were picked up at the hotel and it was an hour to where the excursion goes in a small fazendo. All very well organized.
An experience that is worth it in every way! Not only because rafting is super fun, but because the place itself is wonderful, with a nature and a breathtaking look! And the House of Adventure team is first-class! The journey to where the wet part of the adventure begins is also an interesting experience. But you should be prepared! Because it's several kilometers chacoal on land roads in a Jeep with the staff and equipment. Beautiful landscapes, by little known parts! It's almost like doing rafting, you win a "Jeep Tour" of toast! Ah! It is worth taking repellent so you can enjoy the quiet snack!
It was very cool this rafting ride with Felipe and Chico. Well organized, with all the necessary equipment, and a support canoe also for our safety. The place was very beautiful, right in the middle of the bush, with jeep transport to get to the site. The river was very full of water so it was super fun to get off the raft, and we did a training in the water before to learn the techniques. Felipe is a great guide and knows all about the flora and fauna in the place (we saw several different birds, and even a rare snake, and he knew all the names). We made some legal stops too to see ruins hidden in the bush. At the end we stopped at a place next to Rio, where we ate the best bread in the world and changed clothes before returning to the city. I highly recommend the walk! Impermeable!
We had a good 2 day activity with Felipe: Kayaking for nearly 5 hours was superb, with a cloudy weather & calm sea; the next day was very hot, and perfect for white water Rafting. We enjoyed Felipe’s experience, as well as the nice snacks at the rafting camp ! Go for it, it’s a must in Paraty !
So much fun. This beautiful river is surrounded by thick jungle vegitation and views of distant mountains complete with waterfalls. Breathtaking. Then to be going down this quick river gets your heart pumping. The guides have deep experience in rafting and especially this river. Our trip was well organized, adventurous and most all safe. We took part in some rescue drills and surprise boat flips that amps up your adrenaline. A quick detour to visit some ruins in the jungle was a nice surprise along with a cliff jump. Too much fun.a must do in Paraty.
Careful, punctual and patient instructors to teach. Very nice place, very nice walk!
